Nice boots; heel height is just right. I have athletic calves and they fit perfect on 13-14 inch calves. The sole was a bit slick so I brought them to the cobbler to install a skid pad to ball of foot and now they are perfect! As always, Zappos provides excellent service.

These boots are beautiful! Nice leather. Beautiful details. Beautiful chocolate brown. Very comfortable. Boot heel is well positioned below the center of my heel. I love them!!! My only criticism is that the sole is slippery. I like to have tread, but I\'ll just take them in to the shop and have Vibram tread put on like I usually do. No problem!\r\n\r\nI am a pretty regular size 7 without much of an arch. They are snug with thicker socks on.
