I am a rather loyal users of Five Ten climbing shoes, have been for going on a decade now. These approach shoes are amazing. They are lightweight (compared to the Guide Tennie or other hiking shoes) and stick like a fly to the wall. They also have a great little elastic band around the heel that keeps your foot secure in the shoe. \r\nBe warned, they do run small like a climbing shoe, so if you\'re using them for approach to the crag vs. gym setting then size up a 1/2 size and you\'ll be styling and cranking all day.
