I ordered the red Guilford soon after it came out on Zappos.com because I fell in love with all its unique features: cone shaped heels; low heel height; open-toed mary jane sandals; a very classy, pretty dark red, and the best part of all was that they were from Indigo by Clarks! Sad to say, the moment I received them and tried them on at home, I knew it (should not have been) was not meant to be. Right out of the box, they felt uncomfortably thin soled and unsupportive under the arch and under the toes. The heel felt unstable and the vamp scraped across the base of my toes. Why, oh why, didn't I promptly return them? Because they were so cute, that's why! So I grinned and bore it. I wore them for most of the summer, and I will finally retire them on Halloween. I tried making them more comfortable by adding padded ball of foot insoles; adhering padded tape under the vamp; and allowing them a prolonged "breaking in" period. Alas, all were in vain. I have given them their due, and it is time to move on. I wish it weren't so, but I am wary of buying another Indigo.

I tried these shoes on at a local shop and was amazed with how comfortable they were - more comfortable than the pair of flats I tried on at the same shop! Then I found them on Zappos for a much better price. I have wide feet with bunions :( and do not usually wear high heels, but I was going to a wedding and wanted new shoes to spiff-up an old dress. These were perfect; the red leather has a touch of sheen/opalescence, the heel is striped and gorgeous, the lining is cool, and I wore them all night, even dancing. Great shoes. Good price.

You won't regret buying these! I love Clark shoes, especially the indigo! These are sassy, sexy and classy, all roled into one! They are too to size and are comfortable, ENJOY! Oh by the way, Zappos was absolutely great! I ordered my shoes and within 3 days they were delivered!

Wow! I ordered these shoes and Zappos automatically upgraded my shipping status! Yay me! Received the shoes and was very happy with the results. The size I ordered fits just right and the shoes are classy enough to go from work to play. The only pause I had was when the top part of the left shoe lightly pinched the top of my foot. After half a day of wear they must have stretched a bit and no more pinching! I love them!
