This is the most comfortable shoe I\'ve ever worn. Looks great at work, and fits a nice casual look too. So comfortable that recently when my wife asked if I wanted to put on sneakers before a walk, I told her these shoes were better!

I bought this sho3 after reading some really great reviews, and I have to agree with my fellow Merrell World Passport holders that this shoe is multipurpose. Formal, Casual, hiking up mountains for 8 hours and through the city. Not to mention that it is easy on, easy off so there is no meddling with laces during the airport security screenings. My only wish was that the front end was not so square looking, but it is still fashionable.

They squeak. With every step, you will hear a squeaking sound. Didn't return because I had already worn them outside. I would advise against these shoes.

I recently purchased Merrell World Passport shoes through Zappos. They are probably the most comfortable casual shoes I have ever bought. Nice sturdy rubber sole and comfortable inner liner, with Redwood color on the upper that is quite nice. I feel like I am walking on top of the world--which, of course, I am since the Merrell has the continents of the world imprinted on the sole! And Zappos is great to work with, with free shipping and an easy website to order from. I will definitely do it again!

Comfortable, but they squeak like crazy. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I can recall having, but they developed a really noticeable squeak. I mean noticeable squeak. I looked on the internet, and I am not alone. I am going to contact the company to see if they will replace. If not, I'll try one more pair. If those squeak, I'm done for good with Merrell shoes. If they don't squeak, I'll no doubt be a repeat customer. We'll see.

Other reviewers have mentioned the fashion statement, not your average look, and the squeaking as you walk. I am an adult now creating my fashion statement,and do not sneak around anymore. The big plus of these is that they are very comfy.

I came to Zappos after months of waiting for a local store to re-stock these shoes, which they never did. I read the reviews before ordering so here's my take on it. Size: yes, they do run a little large; however, I ordered my normal size and find them to be comfortably roomy. Squeaking: there is a bit of squeak when you walk that seems to come from the removable liner rubbing against the actual footbed. I found that rubbing some foot powder between both surfaces works pretty well, at least temporarily, and it keeps things smelling fresh! Price: I was a little disappointed to find the Zappos price a little higher than my local store. But after you factor in no sales tax or shipping, it works out pretty much the same. I was very happy with my Zappos experience and will certainly order again.

Bought the shoes for my husband as he favors the fit of the Merrell shoe. Fits true to size, good support, and perfect for work or going out for casual dining. His only complaint is that he feels the toe box is a little big, kind of clown-like. It's really not that big, just isn't a narrow, tapered toe you might find in a European style. This is a very comfortable, practical shoe that looks and feels good right out of the box.

Nice shoe, but squeaky -
I am very pleased with the look and the feel of the shoe. However, there is one annoying problem. The shoes squeak a lot when I walk. I hoped it would go away, but I have had them a couple of weeks now, and they are still very loud.

Like Them So Much the First Time, Bought 'Em Again -
I had purchased these shoes a couple of years ago and wore them practically every day. In fact, wore them out. They are the most comfortable shoes. I was so glad they were still being made and bought them again to replace the first pair.

Love these shoes: great look, excellent fit but they squeak -- a lot -- when I walk. I'm hoping it's a passing phase.

The Merrrell passport runs a half size bigger & the shoe insert rubs on the inner portion of the leather inside the shoe which squeaks (somewhat annoying). Overall a good comfortable shoe, I don't think I would purchase this shoe again, due to the noise factor. I will definitely order from ZAPPOS again, great shipping & customer service.

I needed a comfortable, very walkable shoe that I could wear to work (i.e., slightly dressy) and these looked right. Merrell was recommended by a number of people as a brand and I had several not-so-good experiences with some less expensive brands (incl. GBX, Hush Puppies, Lands End) around durability and support (or lack thereof). The World Passport fit great right out of the box and after several weeks of wear they just get better. The included support insert is decent, and can be replaced by your own if desired; there is enough room in the shoe to handle a bit more height in the orthotic. The only quibble with the look is the brown color is a bit light for my taste and I would like it if it came in a darker (closer to cordovan) shade, but it is a minor quibble. Overall excellent shoe.
