Very nice and comfortable shoes. They shouldn't call them Waterpro because your feet get wet as soon as it rains.

These are very comfortable shoes and have been extremely durable, as well. They look a lot like tennis shoes even though they "work" like amphibious shoes or sandals, which is particularly useful for traveling. The one pair of shoes does double-duty very effectively. I'd get another pair without hesitation. The only note of caution that I want to provide potential buyers is that it's possible for the shoes to pick up quite a smell if you get them wet and they don't completely dry out right away. I used the shoes on a kayaking excursion on a recent vacation, and even with the odor-resistant insoles and several attempts at cleaning them, there's still a persistent smell from the river water that re-appears when I wear them. I can't be sure that it wasn't just something in this river's water, but it looks like replacing the insole might be the only solution at this point.

Great shoes! I went with the Dusty Olive version; the Brindle came in looking way lighter than the pictures show. They look and feel like running shoes, and they\'re extremely versatile. I took them on a hiking and rafting trip in West Virginia, and I used them in whitewater and on every trail. They held up perfectly. However, if you like to keep your feet dry, these aren\'t the shoes for you. They\'re very permeable--the bottoms are actually perforated in the wavy pattern of boat shoe soles--and the insides of the shoes are mostly neoprene. They\'re best worn with bare feet or with dry-fit style socks. I didn\'t have any problems with traction either; they\'re no different than a regular running shoe in that regard.

I love these shoes, they are lightweight and have great traction. The neoprene uppers are great. I do a lot of hiking/fishing in the water and these are the best shoes I have found for that task. Very easy to clean as well.

Light weight, ventilated. Not as large and bulky looking as a typical athletic shoe. Forms to the shape of your foot. I cut the pull rings off the back of mine.

I found these ugly ducklings to be of the same fit and quality of my other Merrell shoes. They are comfortable, stable, light, ventilated and fast-drying. My only complaint is small: the laces are very slick and come untied easily. This can easily be remedied by purchasing a new set. On a side note, my girlfriend has the same shoe in the women's line and does not have the lace issue. I have to double up on the knot to keep them tied but not a huge deal, not enough for me to buy another pair of laces. I have taken them sailing, hiking and biking with absolutely no rubbing or discomfort from day one. I actually incidentally had to swim in these for a short distance, but they didn't weigh me down. They were broken in within a couple days of dog walks and I found the soft mesh upper to be very conforming and comfortable and did not chaff the back of my ankle/heel. They may be a bit dorky, but a very good shoe. Ahnu makes a couple of similar lines, the Lodi and Temescal, that would be worth checking out if you are interested in this type of shoe.

Merrell makes really nice shoes. They are comfortable out of the box and the material allows your feet to breathe. I especially like their color sense. I am tired of drab solid color sneakers. I like the orange and the soft greys and blues. I will buy this brand again for sure.

I have nerve damage in my leg from a surfing accident, and have found Merell\'s to be the best shoe for elevating severe pain, whether walking miles or just around my town, I were mine almost daily. I keep several pairs on hand. \r\n\r\n I purchase all my shoes from Zappo\'s, excellent customer service from order to follow up. This shoe is like the service I have been receiving for many years now from Zappos. I have a size 15 and I have had the most accommodating service you could ever ask for from Zappos. This is far better than any store or other web site you could go to. The people are friendly and courteous and very accommodating. I am just retired from the US Army Special Forces and I have been all over the world and Zappos has been there all the way all the time 24/7, no questions asked and if you show them your loyalty they will return the loyalty by making you a VIP member (its worth it). I am an outdoor enthusiast who understands the need to take care of the DOGS because they take you everywhere. I will continue to, as long as Zappos is around to use their spectacular service. Thanks Zappos team. An American Patriot.

What can I say? They are fantastic! I bought them because as a water shoe the venting is better than a closed shoe. I broke them in walking Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World (lots of walking). They are light, comfortable and don't have any of those weird color combinations. The best proof was that I never got a blister from them. The only thing that can be bothersome is the plastic tab at the back of the shoe that is made of hard plastic. Otherwise I would definitely recommend them.

These shoes are great! I bought them for mountain biking and trail running so they have been abused from day one, and they have met every challenge. They clean up easily and they wick water very well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is active in the outdoors.

Comfortable and grippy water shoe. Drains extremely well, and can also be easily used out of water as well. Would not, however, recommend for any type of sports or exercise that require any type of lateral movement or solid support - which I did not expect of this shoe anyway.

A great shoe with the looks to match. I was looking for a well ventilated, all-purpose sport/water sport shoe that also kept little rocks and pebbles out, and I found it with this shoe. Very comfortable...not much arch support though, (I have high arches). I added an after market arch insert and now the shoe is perfect! Great traction too!

I immediately called your 24/7 hot line, and had one of the best customer service agents ever! Not only was she helpful in changing the shipping immediately, I also asked her to help me find similar boots in a different color, and she really tried her best to do so.
