These are great looking, well-made shoes. I have received many compliments while wearing them, and they really look great with a dark pair of jeans. They're also office-friendly enough to pair with dress pants. I pretty consistently wear a size 9, but these shoes run a little large. An 8 1/2 is very comfortable and a 9 would be way too big. These shoes do have a hard insole, so you may want to add one of your own if you plan to do a lot of walking while wearing them.

 |  | Most of the time people just email to complain. This is just the opposite. I'm totally thrilled with my purchase, as I have been in the past just buying shoes. This is going to be the best Christmas ever for my mom. I was a wee bit unsure about ordering some clothing online for her since she is so incredibly fussy, but this item is perfect!
