These shoes are the CUTEST. Seriously, they're my favorites of everything I own. I have the red and cream colored pair and although the colors are a little hard to match up with things other than jeans, they are so adorable it doesn't really matter. I wore them without socks all around Boston for day of heavy walking and found them perfectly comfortable to wear. They did rub the tops of my toes a little bit but I chalk that up to not wearing socks and walking for many hours in shoes not yet broken in.

Very cute but no arch support -
I ordered the red and cream ones. These shoes are absolutely adorable, and I hated to return them but I had no choice. First off, if you like to wear thick socks, then you need to move half a size up. Also, if you don't double lace, you may need to start because the laces are too long for the shoe and even with generous loops, they hit the floor.
These shoes are very comfortable in terms of how the foot bed feels, however they have one major flaw: no arch support. Because I have pronation, I must have decent arch support or my feet begin to hurt. From just walking inside my home on hardwood floors, after 10 minutes my arches began to hurt and then my problem foot followed suit.
I really expected more from North Face in terms of arch support. They are too low to add insoles (I tried that and my foot wanted to walk out), which was my attempt to find a way to keep them.

 | | I am a F.T. bar tender and am on my feet all night standing, walking and sometimes running! I work hard! I have had the same work shoes that I LOVE for about 10 years! I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them! My feet were just fine ALL NIGHT! They were like wearing slippers w/ arch support. This morning I put my poor old tired out work shoes in the trash with no regrets! Your staff was SO kind and helpful over the phone and the promptness of delivery was amazing! Thank you so much! I'm getting my outfit ready for tonight and look forward to sporting my new Nato shoes! Consequently, I am now an internet shoe shopper! GO ZAPPOS! LOVE-LOVE-LOVE YOU!!!
