I recently purchased a pair of Nike Lunartrainers through Zappos. The shoes are incredibly lightweight with tremendous cushioning. They were delivered on the 3rd day from the time I ordered. They run 1/2 to a full size smaller than my regular shoe size. Im normally an 11, and when I tried a pair at the local store, they only had 10 & 12. The 12s didnt feel that big, so I ended up ordering an 11.5 and they fit perfectly with thin socks.

These shoes feel great - flexible and light, but not fragile. A couple of things to keep in mind: they are VERY breathable, so your toes get wet when you walk in the rain, even if you don't step in puddles. Like all Nike shoes, they are a bit small for their marked size. I usually wear a size 10, but the shoes were too small. I returned them to Zappos and got a size 11. The 11's feel great, and Zappos handled the return very well, as they're known to do.

I\\\'ve been running in the Lunartrainer+ since July. I\\\'ve done long runs (20+ milers) as well as short runs and races in them. \\r\\n\\r\\nThey are a great neutral performance trainer.\\r\\n\\r\\nMy only issue with them is that Nike is not going to continue making them.

Training for another marathon; getting shin splints and this shoe was recommended to me. The shoe is fine, but did nothing to help my shin splints. FYI, I'm a slight pronator, heel striker for what its worth. Good shoe, but don't buy it thinking it will alleviate medial tibial stress syndrome.

Great shoe. Remarkably lightweight, yet still very cushioned. Fit is very snug, but not uncomfortably so. Great looking, too.

Best running shoes ever! I was not able to run long due to knee and foot pains. I tried various shoes, different brands. I even visited the podiatrist. Nothing helped. These shoes totally changed everything for me. Nike make really great sole, which adsorbs shock and keeps balance. It's also really light, so I do not even feel like I'm wearing shoes. Now, I'm running at least 30 min every day.

The Nike Lunartrainers are great! Once you slip them on, they lean you forward; as if to say let's go for a run. I run, in Iraq, on pavement and on gravel 3-5 miles a day and the lightweight cushioning absorbs the shock from rocks and pot holes. They are comparable to the Nike Free 5.0, but are slightly heavier because of the cushioning. If you run off-road, this is the perfect shoe. Solid buy from a solid company.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Nike Free 5.0 for tracks and pavement.

I am runner who logs 30 to 40 miles per week. I have always worn Asics. I've been skeptical of Nike and their running shoes. I took the risk and tried the Nike Lunartrainer. I have been very pleased. I've had them for about a month and have run pr's in both 5k and 10k races. Very happy...It's light, but has plenty of cushioning.I will buy these again.

These shoes are amazing! I run on rough terrain with small rocks and with these shoes I don't even feel them. My feet are doing a lot better since I purchased these shoes and they are incredibly light! I love them!

I had been looking for a new pair of sneakers that not only worked with the Nike+ system, but were also suitable for working out and normal use. I must say that the Lunartrainer+ is a fantastic sneaker! The sneaker is extremely comfortable and soft! The inside is almost pillow-like and I was in love with it the second my foot was in it. The sneaker fits perfectly and it is very breathable. The material used lets plenty of air in. Nike's sizing hasn't changed and my size 10.5 that I ordered fit with no issues. When walking and working out, the sneaker was fantastic and my feet felt great afterwards. Overall, this sneaker is fantastic and worth the higher price tag if you want a top-notch sneaker.

These are great. I got them in red (it's bright!) They feel almost as if you're wearing nothing, they're so light and the cushioning is ample. The biggest thing I noticed about them was the fit - the wide toe box and contoured arch area suits my feet so well it's fantastic. These are possibly the best fitting shoes I've owned in terms of their shape. In terms of physical size, I would say they run smaller than what I am used to - I'd even recommend going half a size up. They're even a little smaller than my ASICS running shoes, which are known to run a fraction on the small side. My major concern regards their durability. The material is so soft and thin I feel as though my toes are going to poke right through it like a sock! Time will tell. Other than that I really like them. Easy and comfortable to run in (I'm an underpronator/neutral foot type with fairly high arches).

I like these a lot. One note: I've found that on long runs the socks I wear matter more with these shoes than with others, and I can't quite explain why. I'll say this, I've done some 8 or 9 mile runs and have barely noticed that I'm wearing anything Very light shoes.

Pleasantly surprised -
I'm very pleased with these Lunartrainers. I run 20 miles a week consistently, and have had good luck over the past couple years with top-of-the-line Sauconys-- logging 1000 miles on each pair. I'm a mild underpronator and I like a cushioning shoe with bounce. I tried out other brands and styles, but the Lunartrainer was clearly superior. From a guy who's heard a lot of trash talk over the years about Nike running shoes, changing brands was totally unexpected. Anyway, kind of nice to see an innovative less-is-more design concept really work for them for an American brand. Zappos did a superb job of getting my shoes to me fast.

Nike does it right with Lunartrainer+
This show is the first of the "new foam" base shoes that Nike has done that is really and truly comfortable enough for an all day wear. Excellent for over pronation and the best walking shoe as well. Feels good running too. Very spongy and is most comfy support shoe I have ever tried on, but amazingly the foam is shaped to allow the foot to move through the gait motion very efficiently. Obviously I like this shoe. Recommended! They fit true to size, but a bit of extra room is helpful. I normally wear 12 in Asics 2100's and the 12.5 worked really well for me in this one. Get it!

 | | I am writing to inform you about my wonderful experience
with Zappos. I discovered your store online a couple of days ago. I noticed some sandals that I wanted, and decided to call. The rep who assisted me in placing an order by phone was very professional, informative, and patient. She also extended an invitation to the VIP Club. I was expecting my order tomorrow (Tuesday). However, it arrived early today (Monday). Both my husband and I were surprised by the rapid overnight express time. I will definitely do business with you again soon and tell others about you.
