Sailing -
I wear them sailing. They're comfortable, they dry fast and I end up with fewer skinned knees. I wish they cost a little less.

Excellent design, but designer price tag -
I love these pants, great for yoga (my job) wear well & look good (to me) but the cost is outrageous! I can write them off my taxes, but that's not the point. Fortunately, other companies are getting on the 3/4 bandwagon. North face, Mtn Hardwear, Arcteryx etc, maybe the competition will bring the cost down? Let's hope so! Come on Patagonia! Where are you? Prana just over price for the sake of it- their quality is NOT better than anyone else. There's a niche market here and a cheaper product can steal the game!

Great product. I am not a climber, but very active and this Knicker performs and looks great. So good this is my second pair. I have not tried any other Prana product, but based on the Knickers, I would be more than happy to purchase other items from this brand.
