Side lace broke -
Like others commenting on this style, the side lace turned out not to be connected at the end like other deck shoes. The lace came out of the front hole, it was just glued in. Poor design in my opinion. Otherwise, very comfortable.

The shoes I ordered fit well and are very comfortable. They arrived in a timely manner.\r\nThe one problem I had is that the leather tie lace that runs along side the shoe broke after only wearing a few times. The shoes are well cared for so I think they were damaged when I got them. I will be ordering a new pair and returning the damaged ones, because it is a great looking and comfortable shoe.

These are by far the best boat shoes for walking. The cushioned sole and the casual style made them a staple for my most recent vacation. They don't take up that much needed room in your suitcase.

These shoes are wonderful! They are very comfortable. I had tried a pair of Sperry boat shoes, but they were too narrow for my feet. The Clarks are great. Thank goodness boat shoes are back in style!

I really liked the looks of this shoe, but unfortunately it turned out they are not a good shoe. They quickly lost their shape and looked very sloppy only after 3 weeks of wearing them. The sole looks good, but it turns out they are very thin allowing your foot to feel every rock or pebble. I have many Clark shoes and have never had a pair I didn’t like, but now I must say I have a Clark shoe I don’t like.

The Clarks Coastal is a very comfortable shoe and very true to size. It is way more comfortable than the Sperry brand. The only problem I had was that one of the laces on the side of the shoe came out of the hole. I thought it was all connected as one long shoe string but apparently not. I hope to be able to fix it with some sort of glue.

It is a relief to find a shoe that feels good on my feet. I have problems in finding a shoe that works for me (flat-footed).

GREAT SHOES!!!
Even thought I spent a little more than I wished, these shoes were well worth it! The inside is so comfortable. They are durable and great for every day activities. A must have and great buy!
