I ordered this shoe mostly hoping it would look a little less clunky than my Merrell clogs and yet be just as comfy. It failed on both counts. It looks passable for a clog, but I did not feel as sure-footed in the shoe. Rather than my foot being cradled in the shoe, I feel like I'm walking (& balancing) on top of it. The heel is higher than I anticipated and the shoe seems to stretch out the longer I wear it.

I love these shoes! I got them in the patent leather and wish I had bought two pairs. They are super comfortable with superior craftsmanship, they do not squeak,and they fit like a glove. I can already tell they will be my 'go to' everyday shoe for the fall. These are definitely recommend to anyone remotely interested.

I have been looking for patent clogs that are not clunky for so long that I overlooked the high cost of these and purchased them. The chesnut color is slightly varigated and beautiful. I love it. The shoe is lightweight and very comfortable. It doesn\'t look as elf-like as danskos, but unfortunatly they are still too unattractive in shape/style for the money. If only they were slightly more sleek they\'d be perfect.

These are my first pair of Mephistos. I like the squishy feel of the footbed. They are very comfortable. They are just slightly less comfortable than my Dansko clogs, but they are better looking. I have yet to wear them in snow/rain to see how the nubuck holds up.

 |  | Dear Zappos, My daughter (Morgan) is a student at Ohio State University.
Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
