I purchased this backpack at the request of my daughter, who is a senior in high school. She wanted something basic and hip - apparently simple black Jansport bag is now "cool" - to carry her books, but not look like she was hefting the contents of her locker. This backpack does the job for her. I agreed to this Jansport bag because I trust the quality of the product and know it will withstand the neglectful attention it will get from an adolescent (being tossed about, sat on, overloaded at times, etc.). While my daughter can easily fit a couple of binders and an assorted bunch of papers in this bag, it is, however, a bit small for a student who needs to lug several binders and textbooks at a time.

I bought this for my daughter and she absolutely loves it! These backpacks are an in-between size and are more comfortable to carry. The variety in colors is also a plus. I would definitely buy another one just like this one.

Middle school age choice -
This is the backpack of choice for middle-schoolers in our area. Great to be able to choose color on line without driving from store to store to find the item in the desired color. Well made -- will be used a long time.

Just a great school backpack -
I bought this backpack for my 10 year old daughter. It is a roomy backpack, without too many overly specific pockets. It's good size for a middle school kid (maybe a bit big for the younger ones) and has nice padding. The material is durable and not too heavy, and my daughter really liked having so many choices of prints.

Top notch back pack.
It's an average student size and use back pack, perfect for toting your stuff. The spades and skulls design is a lot of fun. This is not a large capacity style so it is not good for serious outdoor use or toting a lot of heavy books for school. Lighter duty, but perfect for that!

I ordered this backpack due to back issues, I'd been carrying a side "messenger" type bag for the past few years, and my shoulders and back were killing me! This is a decent backpack, it has plenty of room, and the only thing I wish was that it had an inner pocket or two rather than just one huge space. I bought this for strictly using it for school books...nothing more.

Simple and easy backpack - My son is a minimalist. He likes having just two pockets so that he doesn't have to hunt around for pens, pencils, erasers or anything else. Either he has it or not. The main section is a bit small from my perspective, but he thinks it's just fine for his binder and separate notebooks. (He has a set of books at home.)

I bought the pink floral backpack for my kindergartener...it looks absolutely adorable on my daughter!!! It's a true classic...and so nice to have something that doesn't have a Disney character on it!

Jansport Bookbag -
In preparation for school, my 10 yr old was very concerned about having a bookbag different from everyone else's. As we were looking at your mdse, she saw what she considered the perfect bookbag. She was pleased as was I. I was a little hesitant about paying the price since dept stores had them for less. However, because we couldn't find that one and there was no shipping charge, I was convinced that I made a good decision.

Great looks and function in one -
This bag holds enough binders, textbooks and supplies for any high school or college student. Even loaded to the max, it's still comfortable to lug around on your back. The black and white henna pattern I chose makes this Jansport backpack stand out from the other dark, solid-color backpacks everyone else has. Love it.

While I really like the look of these backpacks, there just aren't enough compartments. For someone in high school, I recommend that you should look for a bigger backpack.

Comment on purple Jansport backpack -
My new Jansport backpack is wonderful - great size, great comfort, and great design! It is very accommodating for me and is capable of holding those school textbooks. (I tried!) I am very pleased with the purple rosebud backpack. I suggest it to any girl teen.

Best brand for medium size backpacks -
If you are looking for a medium size, light, and durable backpack, this is your best choice. It looks good and it is roomy without being huge. I have to add that Zappos.com offers an amazing price and lightening fast delivery in excellent condition.

Polka Dot Jansport -
My daughter picked it out online and I was hoping that it would look just the same and it did!!! It is actually cuter in person! The Jansport label actually doesn't match the polka dots but I got her name put on the front pocket with the same color as the label and it is precious!! It's the pink daiquiri dots if anyone is wondering!

Perfect gift for a student!
I purchased the backpack as a gift for my cousin who is a high school junior. She says that the JanSport SuperBreak is great for carrying everything she needs for class, and is comfortable to wear. She loved the fact that she had so many options to choose from when it came to picking a color for her backpack. I agree! I ordered the backpack on a holiday and it still made it to it's destination by the next business day. Overall...GREAT BUY, GREAT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!

It does not have as many compartments, it hurts when I put a lot of books in the bag. I think maybe this is more of a casual school bag, like for summer use only (when you don’t have a lot of things to carry), for academic year use, it’s not as good.

I bought this backpack for my daughter to match my old backpack from high school (28 yrs old). It doesn't look as well made as mine. It still looks nice and is comfortable. I hope it lasts long.

My daughter loves the Superbreak backpack. It's just the right size for her being that she is small for her age and not everyone in her school will have the same backpack due to the many different designs. I love the Superbreak backpack because it has padding in the back so her books are resting on the padding not her back.

When my pair of boots arrived in less than perfect condition, I had hoped to exchange them for a new pair. Unfortunately, you were out of stock. A wonderful representative offered tips on how to clean up the boots, offered to search other stores to see if they had the boots in stock, and even asked if I would like a refund before returning the boots! I decided to keep the boots for a few more days, as I was not interested in purchasing from another retailer. Luckily, Zappos received more boots in stock within the week.
