The Mephisto Celerina is an amazingly comfortable shoe. I have an arthritic toe and a sensitive bunion on my left foot which makes shoe shopping a bigger issue for me. The cut of a shoe has to either bypass or completely cover the bunion or the pressure on the nerves of that foot is really painful. The Celerina presented none of those problems to me. I slipped the shoes on, and, like Cinderella's, they fit perfectly. There were no seams to press on my bunion/nerve sensitive area. The toe box allowed for my toes to have enough room and not be pinched. The height of the wedge and arch were both comfortable and stylish. The cut of the shoe made my foot look very slender. The innersole is soft but firm with little air holes that allow one's feet to breathe. The comfort alone is worth the price.

Oh, so comfy with an elegant look. Mephisto makes a quality shoe that provides quality wear. The Celerina dresses up slacks and jeans and can be worn with skirts and dresses. Sizing is true.
