Very disappointed. I was disappointed with these boots as soon as I took them out of the box. The leather has a rubbery feel to it that makes it look and feel cheap. The style is also really plain and unattractive. I agree that the top lip flares out too much, so not flattering. I don't believe in suffering for cute shoes, but these are so not cute. I found another pair at Zappos that I love.

I didn't expect to like the appearance of these boots as much as I did. From the pictures, I expected them to be a little bit dated, especially the heel. In fact, they were fairly plain but reasonably stylish. Unfortunately, the boot didn't fit as snugly around my calf as I'd have hoped. My calves are 13.5 inches at their widest point, and this boot (in a size 7.5M) had nearly an inch of extra room around the top. Since I wanted to wear these boots with skirts and dresses, I had to return them. The delivery service was excellent and fast. My one hope is that Zappos will develop a section for narrow calf boots!

The boot looks very well made, but the calf is enormous on me. I am kind of a big-boned gal so this was really surprising! (I bought a wide width.)

I have never paid for other than standard (read slow boat) shipping, and have also never failed to receive your deliveries the next day. I can order Sunday online at night, and the shoes will be there Monday before dinner, it’s astounding. All other companies should take their cue from you guys.
