LOVE THESE SHOES! Zappos is awesome! I ordered these at 11pm on a Thursday and they were here to me by Friday afternoon. Speedy, speedy service. I buy many shoes from Zappos and have been so happy with there service. This is my first pair of Gola Chase and I have a feeling this will not be my last pair. It was recommended in the other reviews to go a size down. I wear a size 7 and purchased a 6 and they fit perfect. They are comfortable and stylish. I have received many compliments on them. I really love these shoes. I have worn them everyday since I received them. Great shoes, great service.

I was looking for a casual tennis shoe for running around town that was comfortable but not frumpy. These look great! They have a good style and are very comfortable. I have wide feet and high arches and I found these to be wide enough. The suede has enough give that I don\'t think these will rub. The arch support is average. I wouldn\'t wear these shoes if I was going to be standing all day just because they don\'t have a ton of cushioning even though they are very comfortable. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 and the pair that I ordered was a 7 and they fit wonderfully. Defintely order a whole size down!\r\n\r\n

My most comfortable sneaker -
I have tried Converse, Adidas, Reebok, you name it. This is one of the most comfortable sneakers that I could wear to both the gym and supermarket. I have always avoided flatter sports shoes because they tend to be too narrow in front and too wide behind. I felt totally relaxed even after walking for some distance. It’s great looking too.

Comfortable and retro-cool without being clunky-looking like a sneaker. I always wear a 10 but got these in a 9--as reviewers suggested--and they fit really well (I ordered the 10's as well and my feet were swimming in them).

These shoes are awesome. Follow the advice and order these 1/2 size smaller than you would normally wear. These are very comfortable and look great. Good vacation shoe for when you need to walk but want to do it in style! Don't wear synthetic socks with these, though...shoes don't breathe as well as others and the "friction" is uncomfortable.

Love them - I've bought Gola shoes before so I was very excited to replace my old pair (which I had for 4 years!). The shoes are super comfortable, pretty narrow, which is good for me, even though I have a size 10. They’re true to size and very stylish.

Perfect, but order down! These are so perfect and comfortable! They're just what I was looking for - a sleek black sneaker to go with the other half of my wardrobe! Casual, yet classy, they're really not clunky, and I love the thin-ish sole (not a fan of big rubbery soles). Well-priced and cute. The only complaint is that they only come in full sizes...and they run big. I'm usually an 8 1/2, but following other reviewers' suggestions I went down, and the 8s I have are still probably a half size big (I only worried about that 'cause they're suede and I'm not sure how much (or if) they'll stretch...we'll see!).

First understand that this is a sport/bouldering shoe, not a big wall or multi pitch shoe. Having said that, the rubber is not as sticky as the 5.10 stealth rubber but the heel on this shoe is a "magician", it fits like a glove. By far the best fitting heel of any shoe on the market!!!!! However, the durability of the leather is lacking. I have never worn out a pair of shoes due to the leather wearing out before the rubber wears out but these have. The toe lacks rubber and under hard flagging on overhung routes these just do not hold up. BUT THE HEEL IS SICK!

Love these shoes! I bought these shoes for a trip to NY where I planned to do a lot of walking. I usually have a hard time with sneakers because even if the soles are comfortable, the area by the heel isn't and it rubs my heel raw when trying to "break in" the shoes. I was happy to see that there was no breaking in necessary. They are so soft and comfortable! I agree with the other reviews that there's not really any arch support, but I just bought some cheap insoles and now they are perfect! Also, I think they added a scotch guard of some sort because I accidentally got some water on them, but as soon as they dried the spot disappeared. Very happy with these shoes!

Very cool, different than what your friends are wearing -
I was on the hunt for a sporty shoe that doesn't make me look like I came out of the gym, but I despise both the "square toe" look and the flat-bottom tennis shoe styling of many casual sneakers. This shoe is so perfect because it is styled like a low-profile running shoe, yet the richly-colored suede gives sophistication to the look. I initially saw these while searching for brown sneakers, but once I clicked on this shoe and saw the gray I was sold. The comfort is about what you'd expect of a casual sneaker, meaning, you don't go for a run in these, but I'd rather be in these than heels any day. As for the sizing, I'm glad I read the reviews before I bought this shoe because my 7 1/2 size foot fit perfectly into size 7 of these sneakers.

Great shoes!
Super comfortable, beautifully made, funky colors...pretty much everything I wanted in a shoe. Definitely make sure you get a size smaller (or find out what your European size is and order that). I usually wear an 8.5 so I ordered the 9, but it was huge. I ended up sending them back to get an 8 which fit like a glove. Lo and behold, the 8 was the same as my European size of 39.

Cute & stylish -
The shoe arrived as cute as pictured online; I heeded other reviewers' warnings, so knew that the shoe would have a somewhat thin sole with no shock absorption. Because of that, it isn't soft and bouncy as other athletic-inspired shoes are. I say athletic-inspired b/c this is definitely for short walks and walking only - no jumping up and down or hard running with these babies. That said, it's an adorable shoe and I absolutely adore it. It feels true to size and is a good fit. If they ever make the sole more shock-friendly, then I'd give it 5 stars.

Cute, decently well made -
My feet are size 10, medium width, with high arches. The size 9 Gola Chase fits perfectly but offers zero arch support. They are cute and seem to be pretty well made for a "sport style" sneaker, though I'll never understand why casual-style sneakers can't be made to the same level of comfort and quality as a performance athletic shoe.
Once I get a good pair of insoles in these they should be great.

Slight comfort sacrifice for great style -
This shoe is great to wear for casual if you want to wear sneakers but don't want to wear running/gym shoes. I have the beige with pink which don't appear to be available anymore, however they go with everything! They can even be slipped on and off without undoing the laces, however their only drawback is that they have very little arch support and if I wear them for prolonged periods, I pay the price. Insoles are recommended, but these shoes are well worth it!! I always get compliments when I wear them.

I love the look. The shoe is light and feels like I'm barefoot, which can be a little bit of a problem because there isn't much arch support, etc. For everyday wear it's wonderful.

Gola Chase are the most stylish fashion athletic shoes out there, just make sure you don’t order them too big as they do run above the typical size. I love the colors they come in, and I bought the khaki/ecru color. I love them, they don’t have much of a sole so they feel like slippers. This is a bonus rather than a flaw. Buy them, you won’t regret it, plus they don’t sell them anywhere locally.
Love Zappos they are the best online store in the internet universe.

I ordered this in a size 9 (my usual size) and it was way too long. Exchanged it for the 8, which was too short. Width was on the narrow side and good for me - I have a narrow heel. Too bad it didn't work out because it looked like a well-made shoe, and I loved the ecru/tan/blue color - very versatile and yes it is as light as pictured in the photo, although a little warmer.
