	The balancing area underneath the metatarsus is a vital part of the polyurethane midsole and requires an active rolling movement with every step.

Great shoe, even more comfortable than my MBT sport lows. The shoe looks a lot better on than it does in pictures or on display. My husband said that the patent velcro straps make it look kind of like I'm wearing a trendy European ski boot without the "boot" part. For some reason the heel seems to fit a lot better than the sport lows, no slippage like I have experienced with other new MBTs. I really like this shoe.
