I think anyone interested in really enjoying a summer walk should try it in these earth Acadia-K. I love how they re-align your body and burn calories without your really having to think about it. Also less is more when it comes to the design. It really works, folks put on a pair that is worth the investment.\r\nWho knows you may have to find yourself walking a lot more thanks to the present economics.

I have really high arches and somewhat wide feet, and I’ve experienced upper back pain in the past from inadequate arch support. Finding supportive sandals is almost impossible for me. The Acadia has even more arch support than Chacos and is cheaper, too. The Acadia isn’t tremendously cushiony, but unlike Chacos, these sandals don’t transmit the impact of every step to my lower back. After wearing them around my home and office to see if I wanted to keep them, I wore them on a 7-8 mile day hike over fairly flat terrain without any blisters, sore spots, or foot pain. The only downside is that the traction could be better. They don’t have much in the way of lugs, and the rubber doesn’t feel particularly sticky. I didn’t feel like I had good footing the only time I had to descend smooth bedrock on a trail (I opted to slide down on all fours), so I’m reluctant to wear them around streams or trails with lots smooth stones or bedrock. However, having a supportive warm-weather shoe for everyday wear is my primary reason for buying these, so the traction isn’t that big of deal for me. I’ve only worn these for about two weeks now, so I can’t attest to their durability. I generally wear out a pair of sandals in one summer, so I’ll be ecstatic if these last longer than that. Unless they wear out in the next few weeks, I’ll definitely buy several more pairs.

Great fit due to flexible strap adjustment! Perfect for wet and dry conditions. Love the negative heel.
