My son needed shoes for school that would keep my his feet cool (they are always hot). I preferred something with a closed toe so that his toes would be protected if they played kickball or soccer. Great combination. Ordered a little big and they were perfect. He loves these shoes.

While these sandals are really cute & I love the design, I am so disappointed in the quality! Especially after paying this much for a 5 year old's summer sandals, I was frustrated that almost immediately, the stitching started coming undone and now all of the tabs on the ends of the straps have either torn or the stitching completely came out & so they are gone. My son only wore these a few times before they started falling apart. I would never buy this brand again!

We love the shoes. Extremely durable and easy for my son to put on. Comfortable and no blisters. The size is a 1/2 size smaller than the normal shoe. Great sandals - Comfortable, easy to get on for 5 year old, durable rubber toe, good air flow (unlike some Stride Rite shoes). Son with extra wide feet and high instep, too wide for Keen's. I would definitely buy these again, in fact, I have! He ruined one pair by dragging his feet while on his bike (the bottom wore out, not the toe). So we bought another pair and they were about $10 cheaper several months later.

My grandson liked these. At first, they seemed a little short and his toe bumped the top of the shoe but we were able to adjust them so they were comforable. Make sure you allow for adequate size so if you are between sizes, go up to the next larger size.

Perfect for active children!
My son loved these shoes, they look great and they stand up to lots of abuse. They protect the feet even during hikes. He did get a blister one time, but I think the back strap was tightened too much. These shoes are very easy to customize a perfect fit with the adjustable straps.
