Started out as a GREAT shoe. However, after the 3rd or 4th wear (Sunday School); stitching on the velcro started pulling away, allowing the velcro to detach. The foot bed is also wearing away, allowing the fabric backing of the vinyl to show through making the soles on her feet sore. After owning these shoes and her wearing them for several Sundays and misc. outings, she wore them walking around downtown one afternoon and they created a huge blister under the "buckle area". As her foot grew into them, they became far too narrow. VERY disappointed in the comfort level for her. I have always gone out of my way to spend whatever it takes to ensure my childs feet are comfortable, decided to try Stride Rite because of several friends and family members who have put their children in nothing but this brand and needless to say, this is the last pair I will buy. They are not worth the money spent on them. Durability alone, not to mention discomfort for my poor baby\'s feet. Really do like the "looks" of them, but that doesn\'t justify the purchase of a second pair ~:o(.

I have bought these sandals several years in a row for my daughter...they are durable, and the closed toe ensures a safer summer shoe.

 |  | Zappos Customer Service, You probably hear mostly from people with complaints. I wanted to take a moment to send some positive feedback. Every order I have placed with Zappos has been a good experience. Many times you upgrade the shipping on your own and I have the item overnight (as occurred with an order I placed yesterday - the item is out for delivery already!) I am in business and know that that is not something you have to do; so I just wanted to say thank you. It's little things like that that make a good service a great service.
