I was looking for something other than black since that's what I always seem to gravitate towards. So these seemed to fit the bill with their variety of color. I ordered my usual size which is a 39 (8 - 8.5). But when they came I realized that they were way bigger than the American 8. In addition they were wide. Zappos sent me the next size down for comparison, and I ended up keeping the 38. I highly recommend ordering a size down, In addition, if your feet are narrow, forget it, they will swallow you up! But they are comfortable and I do get tons of compliments otherwise.

This is a BEAUTIFUL shoe! In the pictures, you cannot tell (even once you know) that the inside part of the upper is a finish close to patent leather. It makes the shoe dressier than you expect it to be. The shoe is beautiful on the foot and very comfortable to wear (as you expect Josef Seibel’s to be), if a bit higher shoe than the norm for this brand. (This review is about the BLACK version of the shoe.)

I originally ordered the 38s - which should have fit according to the size 7-7.5, but were just slightly too big. They fit ok, but were loose over the toes. I just got the 6-6.5 (37) and they fit much better. They do rub a bit against the inside of my one foot, but they are also more of a snug fit. My feet also might be very sensitive because I wear socks and boots or sneakers a lot. So, I’m keeping them, but I hope they will become softer on the inside against my foot. It’s not super hard - they are leather and very soft when felt with my hand. I think my feet just aren’t used to it yet.

These shoes are beautiful, and you can see and feel their quality. I ordered them in a 38, for 7-7.5 which is my normal sizing for other shoes, but unfortunately they feel a little big. I am waiting to see if a 37 will come in stock, I'll compare them. They actually fit very well everywhere else but are a little too loose right over the toes and there is no way to tighten them. I hope the 37's will fit perfect because these are very nice shoes. I'm giving only 4 stars overall because of more limited sizing (no half sizes.) 5 stars for comfort because I can tell if they fit right, they'd be very comfortable.

This shoe is absolutely gorgeous and VERY well made as most Josef Seibel shoes are...the only problem is that it does run wide. I do not have a narrow foot and always wear medium width, but this shoe runs wide...but absolutely love it.

Great comfort and fit right out of the box for my 5.5 size foot. A little extra heel height adds a bit of style to these sandals and looks super with jeans. Seems true to fit and the width is perfect. Can't wait to wear them. Your next day service was superb as usual.

I also wanted to send a much belated thank you for a service you did for me about a year ago. At the time, my son broke his leg very badly and we needed some "basketball breakaway pants" to put over it so he could go out of the house, as the cast was quite large. We couldn't find them anywhere, but my mother found them on your website.
