I have average wide feet and found these shoes to be versatile and pretty. The design is flattering and the canvas portion hasn't yet frayed, which is often the case for espadrille-type shoes. One issue is the size. I am usually an 8W and ordered these shoes in an 8W in blue. I thought they were a tad short in the length but fine as far as the width. I then ordered the 8 1/2W size which, at the time, was only available in brown. I was better off with the 8. At times my feet start to slide around in the larger size. In either color, both shoes are casual enough for slacks and yet appropriate for work. After about an hour of walking, however, I found the hardness of bottom to be uncomfortable. So don't plan on vacation-length walking with these shoes. Otherwise, these are a great addition to your summer shoe wardrobe.

These shoes look very cute on. There is only one thing I do not like: the foot bed is made of the silk material, and your foot slides around on it when walking.

I love that this cute shoe comes in narrow! I\'m ready to see more young, cute, and hip styles in narrow sizes. The Bella-Vita Thai looks just as cute on the foot as it does in the picture. The only drawback is that there\'s not much padding under the foot, which would help make it more comfortable for longer wears. Overall, I think it\'s super cute and am happy with my purchase.

When I wear this shoe, I think the wide foot fairy must have had a hand in inspiring the shoe maker. It\'s so hard to find an espadrille available for wide feet, and I love it so much, I got it in green and in gold. Both are such versatile colors, and the fabric has enough sheen to allow it to go from day to night with ease. It goes well with skirts, shorts, capris, and pants! I haven\'t tried walking all day in them yet, but they\'re definitely quite comfortable!

Thought they were perfect, but they stretched! I was thrilled with these shoes out of the box. So thrilled, I purchased another pair in a different color! Since they are silk, I waited to wear them to an event where I was sure they wouldn't get wet. Unfortunately, I discovered too late that they don't stay on my feet! Out of the box, they fit like a dream, very comfortable on my WW feet. Heel height was great and the back hit at just the right spot over the heel. After about 2-3 hours of normal wear (standing, not much walking), the back started to slip down off my heel. The elastic was already stretching out. By the end of the night, the heel strap was under my heel more than it was around it. Love these shoes, but silk and elastic just don't hold their shape on my foot.

Width is pretty good for very wide feet, though I had to go 1/2 size up to be comfortable. After a lot of walking at work, my feet were tired; the bed is quite firm. Very pretty shoe, best for social event.

I love these shoes! They fit perfectly and the color was true to description. This shoe is also very accommodating for people with bunions and the heel height is comfortable enough to wear all day at work.

Fabulous shoes. I have really wide feet and the extra wide is really comfortable. Great looking shoe. Only worn it with jeans and a cute summer shirt so far and gotten many compliments. Perfect heel height; not flat, not too high. Recommend them.

I never write reviews of shoes. Maybe once. I had to write a review of these shoes. They are my magic slippers. Fit right out of the box. Note: I ordered W and I don't normally wear wide. But I read reviews and thought I should order wide. I want to order another pair. My favorite shoes on this day.

Attractive peep-toe style, comfortable padding on sole. I'm not used to peep-toe shoes, and they bind a little at the front toes (but I think that is inevitable with this kind of heel!). The material is soft though, and doesn't rub anywhere. The gold is a great neutral color.

I love this shoe but unfortunately it was not true to size. I wear a 12W and found that it was just too tight around the toes. I was thrilled to be able to return my original pair in 12W and reorder a 12WW (which was in stock) and I didn't even have to pay any shipping costs. I have a hard time finding stylish shoes in my size so it's nice that Zappos offers these larger sizes in fun styles.

This shoe is very comfortable. I was concerned that an espadrille might not be well-made but the shoe has held together very well so far. I sometimes feel pressure on my fourth toe but it never becomes painful.

I don't understand how everyone else said how comfortable these shoes were. When I first put them on, they did seem comfortable. After walking in them for maybe 15 minutes, my feet were killing me. They were excruciatingly painful. The heel straps would not stay on my heels. They kept falling under my heel. Maybe the shoes were a 1/2 size too big but I don’t think I could have fit into a smaller size. They were especially painful on the soles of my feet. After 15 minutes, the bottoms of my feet were on fire and felt like they were about to blister at any second. I had to take them off. They looked very cute but way too painful.

Love, love, love these shoes. I have very wide feet and have always had a problem finding comfortable shoes that fit correctly that don't look like Grandma's ortho shoes. These are probably the most comfortable shoes I've worn in years. But the best part is that they're adorable. I get compliments on them every time I wear them and that's not something I'm accustomed to.

These shoes look great and were comfortable right out of the box. The strap around the back of the ankle allows me to wear them with jeans without the hem of the jean getting trapped between the foot and the shoe. They felt true to size. I really love these shoes: wedge sandals can sometimes look clunky, but these do not. Very flattering to the foot and leg!

These shoes are so comfortable; I also bought them in goldtone. I was able to wear them right out of the box - no breaking in period. They look very dressy but also great with jeans. The color is really pretty and I get major compliments on them. I only wish they came in red!! Hint...hint...

I have EE size feet and finding shoes, CUTE shoes, is nearly impossible because they normally only come in either medium or a really small wide. These wedges are not only cute, they are comfortable. I was able to wear them for 6 hours at my job getting up and walking around. They work with multiple outfits and make my feet look slender.

It took me a while to write this review because the day after my shoes arrived, I broke my foot right where the toes meet the body of the foot. I took the shoes on vacation with me out of necessity, still not having worn them except to try them on in my bedroom. They seemed very comfortable there, but how would they do in a "road test?" The answer, I now know, is GREAT! I tromped all over a resort in these shoes, and much of that time on hard marble floors or cement walkways. Despite the fact that my foot hadn't healed completely, I found these shoes perfectly comfortable, and they struck the perfect note of "dressy casual" for resort wear. I've worn them with jeans and a casual blazer, with silk pants and a dressy silk blouse, and with linen pants and a sporty linen jacket. Thanks in part to the nubby silk texture; they looked just right with all three levels of dressiness. I have very wide feet due to bunions, and I find that Bella Vita shoes tend to run a bit wider than many other brands. The extra "spreading" room was welcome in hot weather for lengthy walks at the end of the day. I bought three pairs of these, and if I see them offered in another color, I'll probably add to my collection!

Generally I love Bella Vita shoes. These are a great style, available in lots of nice colors and many sizes. However, I have a problem with the platform of the shoe; although it is a fairly heavy base, there is only a small area of heel and it is somewhat set forward so to me it seems quite unstable - "tippy" even. I don't feel confident at all while walking in it. On the plus side the fabric is attractive, flexible, but heavy enough to be stable; the elastic on either side of the shoe should hold the foot in place well. It's an attractive shoe, and it may work for you...but I found it necessary to return them.

These shoes were gorgeous, true to size, and very comfortable. It's hard to find attractive wide width shoes. I wore these all day and didn't feel the need to take them off at all!

Got these in gold- love them so much am thinking about getting another color. Heel is the perfect height and the style is flattering to a larger foot without looking bulky. Added bonus of being truly comfortable. Highly recommend.

I love these sandals, I have narrow feet and this brand fits right out of the box, and, they are quite beautiful...I wish these came in more colors I would order them.
