Great shoes. Offers style, versatility, and above all, comfort! I work in retail so I am constantly on my feet and needed a shoe that had an orthopedic feel with a younger, appealing look. Completely satisfied. Recommend to anyone looking for a modern shoe that is comfortable without compromising your style.

I've been looking for the "perfect" boot for a few weeks. I wanted something with a heel that I could wear comfortably all day and also something that would not be too flashy for a corporate environment but still not put-me-to-sleep boring. I have a skinnier leg and ankle and plan to wear boots underneath slacks. This boot fits the bill in every way. When I zip them up they actually feel like they were made for me, perfect! I wear an 8 and they felt true to size with a pair of regular (not padded) knee high boot socks.

I just received these boots in black. They are not only gorgeous but also extremely comfortable. I was looking for a boot with a mid-heel and traction bottom that would look dressy enough to wear with suits and these fit the bill perfectly. Clark Artisan shoes and boots are beautifully styled and well made. Can\'t go wrong!

This is a beautiful, classy boot! Very well made, gorgeous leather and comfortable fit. Clarks shoes in general are great fitting shoes, and these boots are no exception. I normally wear a half size larger in boots than shoes, but ordered both an 8 and 8½. The 8½ size was perfect the minute I tried it on. I am finally ready for colder weather to arrive! Thanks to Zappos for their great service in shipping and returns. They are the best!

I'm sold on Clark's, this being my third purchase of the brand (and my first pair of long boots). I ordered 4 different kinds of flat-soled boots to try, plus this pair which I wasn't intending would be the keeper set. I was looking for comfortable boots, not something with a heel. However, shipping was free, they looked nice, and they were Clarks, so why not try? These boots were the most comfortable of the lot, pleasant to wear, didn't want to take them off. So I kept them, and am really happy with them! They look snazzy and polished, they're comfortable, the leather doesn't bind around your ankles (like some of the other boots I tried). I couldn't be happier with them!

Got 9W, very comfortable shaft with 15 1/4"+ calves, 5'3" shaft height with plenty 1"+ to knee. As other Clarks, this 2" heel is really 1 3/4" maximum and comfortable as flats. Black leather fine. Problem: too much extra material on tops of foot area/ankles roomy, just not taken in for foot front shape. Hard to describe; hope I did. Nice, plain, versatile, smooth boot; but at this price, I would go with less expensive Naturalizer Bromidic, if heels weren't too high & thin. Their black leather and boot shape noticeably better. If you want comfort, these do it, but for looks, too "bunchy" top of foot. Might be perfect for thick legs, ankles on up. My calves big, shoe/ankles average, am flatfooted. Returning because will wear for skirts & want sleeker look at ankles/feet. La Canadienne's Tahra Italian calf leather Wow'ed me before tried these, effected my impression, but size those up, no wides. Got to give up these comfortable good looks for great looks & leather at this price point.

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
