I usually fit between a 9.5 and 10 narrow. My favorite Mary Janes are Clarks Un.blend in a 9.5 narrow. So I expected a 9.5 narrow to fit in these shoes, too. Nope! They are so thickly padded there was barely room for my heel to get in, and it slipped out constantly when I tried to walk in them. Plus my toes were squished at the tip. The padding was exceedingly comfortable, but for me, maybe a 10AA would have fit better.

I was looking for a comfortable, cute black shoe with a bit of a heel, for work. I\'m on my feet almost the entire days and these looked like they would fit the bill. Once again, Zappos\' speedy delivery had my head spinning. Out of the box, they are even cuter than the picture. I wear a 11M, so I figured this shoe would fit or even be a tad small. Not in this case. They were huge! My heel was flopping out of the back of the shoe. I managed to track down a 10M, for comparison. Unfortunately, that was too small. A 10.5 would be perfect...if Clark\'s made one. Back to Zappos they go as I continue my seach.

I purchased this shoe to replace a Clarks style from a few years ago. I don't think that it's all in my imagination that the shoes are running larger these days. A size 5 is a tad too large. That being said, I guess I will need to add a heel pad because I cannot go down a size, no 4 1/2! I agree with the reviewer who wishes for buckles. A true buckle allows for better adjustment and lasts longer than velcro. Furthermore, hook and loop 'buckles' cheapen the look, and Clarks shoes are pricey enough. For the amount of money spent, I think they could afford to use genuine buckles. I would even be willing to pay a few dollars more.

Very comfortable shoe. Very reminiscent of the mary jane shoes I used to wear as a child. Not exactly a sexy shoe, but you can wear it all day and into the night because it is almost as comfortable as tennis shoes. The velcro closure allows for easy access.

These are perfect shoes for work. The black patent is beautiful The heel height is enough to make my legs look longer, but the heels are very stable. I also really appreciate the strap, which has enough give in it to be comfortable even when I\'m running around the very hilly campus where I work. My feet usually fit either a 9.5 or a 10, and with these, the 9.5 worked beautifully.

I am on my feet all day teaching. This is my favorite shoe to wear with business casual pants or capris. I used to return home with pain in my legs and hips, but not any more.

I needed a comfy, sturdy shoe that would work in all sorts of weather as well as with dresses/skirts/pants. I ordered both the 9M and the 9W. The 9M was too narrow, the air cushion made noise with each step, the inside of the heel felt awkward. The 9W was wide, and long. My heel popped out of the shoes when I took a step. Same weird heel feeling and noisy air cushion. They were pretty, and sturdy, but just too annoying both in the way they felt and, well, that darn "pfft!" noise. Also, the soles have zero traction. Thankfully, Zappos was just terrific with shipping and returns! I found that the Naturalizer Viani 9W was perfect for a comfy mary jane instead of this Clark Dellwood Oak.

Great shoe. Exactly the look I was looking for. The shoe, however, runs a 1/2 size to a full size bigger. And the strange shape of the heel of the shoe makes it somewhat unstable, nothing tragic though.

We had ordered a pair of shoes in a size that were too large. As usual, no problem with returns. Printed return label on-line and dropped off with UPS. Tried to order the next size smaller which was out of stock. We were able to set up notification, by Zappos, by email when it became available. It took less than a week. Love this service. Ordered the new shoes by clicking on a link. Fanatastic! Shoes arrived within a few days. This is the best site available.

I\'m a physical therapist on my feet all day, so support and cushion are essential. This shoe fits the bill - very comfortable and my feet are not aching at the end of the day.

This is a great shoe. It is very comfortable and true to fit. I think you can wear them with dress pants or jeans. One of the best shoes I have ever bought! Zappos is the best with their next day delivery!

Ooh! Ahh! Super lightweight, very comfortable shoe. Has a little extra cushion in the heel area, that makes it feel like you are walking on a bouncy cushion. Enough room in the toe area to wiggle your toes. I got the brown color which is very nice; just hope it won't scuff too much? My only concern with this shoe is that the velcro straps are loose on my feet (I often have this problem). When I try to pull them tighter they open as I walk, and I walk out of the shoe. I'm going to see if I can try to adjust the velcro somehow, so I can keep these. Wish Clarks had made this shoe with a buckle on the strap, rather than velcro. The 11N is true to size.
