These are great, stylish, and comfortable boots. I wanted a leather boot for jeans that had a bit of a heel, but one where I could walk all day. These are it! They run slightly larger than I expected. I probably could have taken a 1/2 size down and still been comfortable, but the extra room will allow you to wear thicker socks if you are so inclined. I liked these boots so much that I bought a pair in brown too.

Comfortable and stylish. I like a little bit of a heel in my booties, but find most heels over about 1.5 inches put enough pressure on my forefoot that comfort can be iffy over the course of a day. These have cushioning throughout the footbed, which makes all the difference. The leather is good quality and supple, plenty of toebox and instep room, but not clunky. Makes my size 12 foot look a little smaller. Good for weekend wear as well as work.

I loved the look of this boot and it was really well made. It was quite narrow and I am usually true to size in my shoes and boots, as long as it is not cut too narrowly.

After ordering umpteen boots from various sources, this boot was the winner. It fits true to size and with the slight platform and good forefoot padding, the higher heel height is very comfortable. At first try on, I found the leather all around to be a little stiff and that initially concerned me. But, after wearing this boot around the house, I did not feel any pressure points or rubbing anywhere. The clean, classic lines and higher slimmer heel look great with jeans. I\'ve now worn these boots out shopping (on my feet for a couple hours), and they were very comfortable. Highly recommended!

Overall, these boots are comfortable, but they are a little tight around the ankles, which starts to get irritating at the end of the day. If the leather was softer, I don\'t think it would be an issue.

Love these. Simple basic boot, soft leather, good padding on ball of foot. I usually wear 7 1/2 to 8. The 7 1/2 fits great, hugs my foot, so it doesn\'t slide around. I can\'t wear heels, but these are a fairly good walking height for me. They look great with jeans.

I bought this beautiful Clark ankle boot and returned it regretfully. Although it is marked "6.5 B", I estimate that is no more than a size 5.5, if that much. Recently, I bought the size 6.5 Clark "Stoney River" from you and it fits perfectly, as do all my other size 6.5 B shoes and the other 6.5 B Clark boot I own. Although I haven't seen an ankle boot I like better, I hesitate to reorder because I suspect the whole shipment may be sized erroneously.
