Ordered several pairs of both the Oily Brown and the Black versions in 8 1/2 M. With heavier winter socks, they fit great for narrow feet. The first pair of Oily Brown ordered was lovely, fit great, and I kept it. Then another pair was ordered for my mother who had tried on the first pair. They were so ugly with bad blotches, and also smelled strong of oil. She wouldn\'t even try them on, and they are being returned. Ordered the Black version for her instead, and they are lovely. Still think the Oily Brown version is funky, and I\'m glad I got it. Just beware of the finish.

I bought these shoes to wear in the French Alps and I couldn\'t be more pleased. No break in time just comfort right out of the gate. Love them and always satisfied with Clarks.

Great boot! Comfortable from the moment I put it on. True to size. Good mix of edginess and refinement to go with several types of outfits.

Love the boots. They are very comfortable and look good with jeans and slacks. I had been looking for boots for awhile. Really like the style. Also have them in Brown Oily.

I agree with the other poster, this boot has a manly quality to it. The style makes it look big. It\'s comfortable for the most part, although there is a little too much ankle room for me. I also would not want to wear it to do much walking.

Okay, quick, write this down, Harley Davidson Alivia. Search for it. Buy that instead! I ordered this at the same time along with Fossil Audrey Low Boots and returned this along with the Fossil. I have picky feet and love the Harleys. On this boot: There is no footbed cushion at all. Not a dime of cush I expect from Clarks. The leather is nice quality, but it's standard black leather, not lined that I could tell. The toe box is snug, almost tight. I wear a 9.5 and order a 10 in most things. And the ten was too snug. No way could I wear anything other than trouser socks, no comfortable thick socks with these. The shaft height is okay but hits a bit strangely. It also looks mannish in a metrosexual way. So, not so manly that it's obvious and just a unisex style, but manly in a "oops, she bought the wrong boots and doesn't know it" way. I've never bought Harley anything and bought lots of Clarks. Go for the Harley Alivia instead and I really think you'll be impressed.

Really enjoying this boot! Love the shorter height and the look of the oily brown. I have super narrow feet and they are bit room on me but still comfortable. They look nice under jeans as well as slightly rolled up jeans to show the cute buckle on the side. I also wear skinny jeans inside. Heel is rubber so they are also quiet and cushy. Very pleased!
