My 7 year old loves these shoes. He as XW feet (more "thick" than wide, actually) and NB always do the trick. Be advised - these shoes are mostly SILVER - like shiny, almost foil-like silver and I don't believe the description mentions that, so I was a bit surprised when we first opened the box. Of course he thought they were the coolest and they are definitely unlike any the other kids have. He says they were comfy right out of the box and he loves that he doesn't have to fool with untied shoes at school everyday.

I bought this shoe for my seven year old grandson -
This shoe is very comfortable, I got the extra wide for my seven year old grandson who is very active. It is also a very good looking shoe but he hasn't been wearing them quite a month yet & the little thing that comes up the front of the shoe has come loose on both shoes already & I had hoped by paying a lot more money & it being a NB shoe it would do better than that so I won't do that again but Zappos is still the best!
