I passed these to my sister. The heels, which I thought would be silent and solid rubber, click clack. I repeat these sound like someone walking down the hall with high heels. I don\'t like click clacking.

Nice shoes, fit well. Shoe material is thin and flexible so I\'m not sure how they\'ll hold up in snow and ice. The soles are smooth and there\'s no traction. Also, there is no give in the heel, so if you\'re not the best at walking in heels (that is, if you\'re a heel-to-toe walker), prepare to click a lot when you walk in these.

These shoes are very comfortable and attractive. But there is a drawback: the heel is way too hard and makes a lot of noise when you walk. Terrible for non-carpeted spaces, which is most places, for me. I've always hated a hard, clacking heel. So I've taken them to be re-heeled with a softer material. My husband hates hard heels, too, and it's often hard to tell when reading product descriptions if the heel will be hard (and potentially slippery) or not. Shoe manufacturers beware: lots of us hate hard heels! Rubber is much better.

 |  | I love your Company and have ordered several things. I am dealing with kidney cancer and am always looking for red shoes to make me feel happy when I am getting chemo. You have always been able to help me. Your staff is amazing and last month I ordered a pair of red sandals and just recently received a box filled with little gifts to make anyone feel better. Your team member also sent me your 2008 Culture Book with a beautiful note. I have been reading all the uplifting notes that many people wrote in the book and can't believe that there are so many wonderful people out there. I also worked for a company who had core values that we all had to follow, but when I got cancer, this health company did nothing to help me through this time. They recently stopped my disability because they said they only allow two years. I am now going to live on my social security of $1,400.00 per month. I sent the CEO a letter requesting an extension and was told they have done all they could for me. My Chemo pill alone costs $6,000.00 per month and I have to stay on the expensive Cobra so that I can get it. Soon that too will expire. I just know that I have such high regard for your company and Zappos. Thank you for being who you are and I wish I was close to Las Vegas to visit your place and thank everyone personally.
