For me this bag is almost perfect. I like the strap versatility: you can adjust the cloth strap to cross body length, regular shoulder strap length, or remove it completely. The inside is roomy, and, because it's more horizontal than vertical, a plus in my book, you can see everything inside at one glance. It's also really lightweight, I used to buy only Coach until my chiropractor read me the riot act! The only drawback is the color, the brown is really drab; I wish, in retrospect, I'd purchased a more 'up' color to add a little oomph to the depressingly rainy fall we're having. Also, the quality of the leather and the workmanship would normally mean a higher price tag, this is a good value.

I love this bag. It is the perfect rich shade of purple, and the leather is supple. I hunted all over the Internet for a leather bag that was less than $100 but looked rich and this bag exceed my expectations, especially for the price, and I have received numerous compliments. Also, the long handle to wear the bag cross body is super convenient.

I bought this bag in the grass color and absolutely love it. I do agree with the previous reviewer about the zipper and size of the inside zip pocket, but they work fine. This bag is made very well, especially for the price. I liked it so much that I ordered a second one in boysenberry. Both are great fall colors. Great bag!

I bought The Sak's Iris Leather Convertible Satchel, color: Punch. I'm extremely picky about my handbags, so it took me a long time to settle on this one. I love red-colored handbags, because red will work for any time of year, occasion, etc. I was looking for a leather handbag with a top zip enclosure that was kind of medium in size and dimension. Above all, I have a very smooth and non-flashy fashion style and tend toward solid colors. This handbag met all of my requirements. I would have preferred the interior zip pocket to be just a big larger, but it's fine the way it is. The zipper pull could have been engineered a bit better. I was surprised to see this handbag hold its shape fairly well when not holding onto it. I was prepared to go as high as $150 for a handbag; the fact that I managed to find a high-quality leather handbag in a beautiful color for this price is unbelievable. I'm having a lot of fun with it and am glad I found it.

 | | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family. My sincerest thanks for helping my dad recover and come home to me. Barbara I. | | ~ Barbara I., September 29 2009
