Guaranteed to make you run faster and jump higher! Love my PF Flyers. Comfortable to wear through a 30 hour shift at work, and I get tons of compliments. Look similar to Converse, but I think they feel better.

Too cute!
Never bought shoes before that looked like these. I got a black and beige pair to wear with shorts. This is probably the best "canvas" shoe quality-wise. Sure beats Keds. Unfortunately, my style critic said they made my feet (size 11) look huge and looked silly with my pedal pushers. Also that I shouldn't have tried to imitate the look from the movie iRobot (even though those were Converse). What a joker! I still just can't get over how cute these shoes are. They do look a bit juvenile - like maybe kids should be wearing them (I'm 27), but I'm not getting rid of them. They seem oh so appropriate to wear sockless at the beach or with a plain Tee and jeans. Only criticism is that the laces aren't long enough to make a double knot.

To quote a friend of mine, "Uber Cool". These shoes take you back. I love the Retro look, even the packaging is retro. The shoes feel good, fit good, look good. I would summarize by saying, "These are good shoes". Oh yeah, in my opinion the price was good and the service and delivery were unbelievably GOOD!

I felt that this shoe ran a little smaller than the same version of the Converse. I like the look. It is ok, but probably can't be used for long walks due to the pinching of the toes. I should have returned it for the larger size.

The Best Fitting and Coolest Looking Tennis Shoe Ever!!
Obviously, the close resemblance to the cool looking “Chucks” was attractive along with me being old enough to remember wearing PF Flyers as a kid. However, I was weary of the PF Flyer as I thought they’d be as uncomfortable as “Chucks.” But after reading other reviews of how un-Chuck like they are in the comfort department, I thought I’d give them a try. WOW! They are probably the most comfortable casual tennis shoe I’ve ever worn, and I’ve worn a ton of them. They are almost like wearing slippers out in public. I have high arches and that usually poses a problem with the shoes I buy. Not with the PF Flyers. They are wider in the toes and come with this really cool and functional sole insert that works wonders. Trust me, try a PF Flyer and you are gonna be hooked!
Also, I ordered the shoe on a Saturday morning; it was at my doorstep on Tuesday morning. And, wait until you see the retro old-school style box they come in!
Oh, and it was recommended to get a 1/2 size larger and I did, I got a 12, and you just read the results.

Run Faster... Jump Higher -
These are awesome shoes and just like I remember them when I was a kid, very comfortable and they look great with a pair of faded blue jeans. I agree with the majority, buy a 1/2 size larger for a good fit. Got mine broke in and wearing them without socks. I just ordered my second pair... blue high tops and can't wait to get them. Zappos is the only place to buy shoes on-line... later dude! Peace... make love not war.

These shoes are awesome! I remember them from when I was a kid and when I found out they were still available, I had to have a pair! I had never ordered shoes by mail order before and was concerned about fit because I have a medium high arch and have a problem with shoes fitting correctly. I got these shoes and put them on and felt like they were made for my foot. I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. I liked them so much I went back and ordered a second pair. Will probably order more!

I think these shoes look a lot better on the web site than they do in person and they are not really comfortable. I guess I should have expected this since these shoes have been around for a long time. This is not to say I won't order from Zappos again because their service is fantastic.

Cool when I was a kid and even cooler now!
These shoes make you feel like you are once again lazing away a summer day (a game of tag in the back yard, a bike ride, and then perhaps a popsicle?) with endless summer days ahead. What could be better than a shoe that makes you feel like you are eight years old? And what could be better than a shoe that guarantees that you will "run faster & jump higher?" I'm 43 now, but I still love this shoe!

Yeah, these shoes really feel comfortable and look great. I got them because I love the movie The Sandlot and I said, "I got to get some of those." Now my friends want some pairs for themselves, too. I told them to buy them at Zappos.com.

Nice, comfortable shoes. Much more comfortable than Chuck Taylors. I also had a very nice customer service experience while getting a price match. I would buy from Zappos again.

PF Flyers are classic -
These are such classic trainers - much better looking and more unique than Converse Chucks. They're more cushioned as well - making them more comfortable and slightly warmer (I can't wear chucks on cold floors in the winter). Slightly snug, get a half size larger.

My New Favorite Kicks!
The PF Flyer's have replaced my Converse as my kick-around shoe. They are much more comfortable with more cushion in the footbed and they are a smidge more groovy with the exaggerated toe rubber. I bought them in natural and think I'll pick-up another pair as a back-up. They do run big, so order a 1/2 size down.

These are classics right here. You gotta get yourself a pair. If you are above the Chuck Taylor’s and want something different but yet original, then...P.F. Flyers is what you want.

I like these much better than the Converse Chuck Taylors. Every time I've had Chucks, the front of the shoe has looked kind of pointy (if that makes any sense) and began to look like elf shoes after a while. These are more rounded. They are also a lot sturdier. I love them and have gotten compliments every time I've worn them.

This is a fantastic shoe. I mean FAN-TASTIC! It is great for those that like the look of a Chuck Taylor, but find them quick to wear out, and not very comfortable. The PF Flyer fits like a glove, and (where I would tear through a pair of Chucks in a month) I still wear my first pair which have been showing not fallen apart even after 3 years! The PF Flyers also have a wider base around the front of the shoe, which helps avoid the Chuck Taylor habit of making your feet look like a long boat. All of this for about the same price you would pay for Chucks (maybe about 10 bucks more), and with this great shop, you will probably get them the next day free of charge!! Now that is pretty friggin' sweet!

PF Flyers low cut re-issue -
I love these shoes but they do run small. Sadly I thought they would stretch out, but I don't think they will. I can only wear them for a short time. Next time I'll have to order a size bigger than my usual size.

Rubbed the toes!
I thought these were cute, and I remember wearing PF Flyers as a child, since they promised you could "Run Faster, Jump Higher" in their advertising. Even though these seemed to be the correct size for me, the funny round toe area actually rubbed my big toe a lot. The shoe wasn't too short, but it rubbed my toe when I tried to walk in them.
I thought the inner sole was much more supportive than most of these types of shoes. If I can find one that really fits, I think I'd enjoy wearing PF Flyers.

Great shoe! I love the look and feel. Very comfortable, too.
I wear a size 10.5 and that's what I initially ordered. They were really tight and uncomfortable and I needed to exchange them for an 11. (My ratings are based on the size 11).
