Loved these boots. The style, color and heel height were perfect. The fit was very comfortable everywhere. The only part that bugged me was the fact that they were baggy around the ankles. If I stood straight you couldn't notice, but the "saggy ankle" look became apparent when I walked in them. I probably wouldn't have noticed except that my previous pair that wore out (different brand) was very snug fitting. So in comparison, these seemed a little baggy, and I couldn't get past that. Overall, great boot!

These boots are stunning, the leather is beautiful and they are true to size. Unfortunately, my calves are just too big for these boots. The search continues for quality leather boots that will fit my calves.

I ordered these since they are the perfect classic style of boot with a great heel. After trotting them around my apartment like I usually do to break-in shoes, I realized the boot does not 'soften' up. Most boots/shoes need a good trial run around the house, but these are definitely made of cheap material. The foot part is actually comfortable. The problem lies with the shaft and "leather upper" material. They feel stiff at first try on, and when sitting you can really feel them dig into your skin. I've never paid this much for such poor quality, so they will have to go back. 'Til then my quest for the perfect leather boot goes on. And this time I'm sticking with Italian leather since you cannot go wrong.
