I purchased these sandals in size 7.5 in late august a little wide if you have narrow feet, they are true to size. All in all I have enjoyed wearing them.

These shoes are very comfortable. They run true to size and fit great. They are the perfect sandal to have on hand because they go with a lot of different clothing styles.

Great sandal, very stylish and has the gladiator looking but not overly done, so it will last more than one season, and won't be out of style soon. I ordered the Brown color, I like it a lot, have been wearing it since the day I got it. Very comfortable sandal; it matches almost everything, jeans, shorts, skirts. But because it is very flat, after a long day of wearing, I mean nonstop shopping or walking around exploring the city, this kind of activity, my feet were getting very tired and sore. I guess that is the problem for all the flat shoes and sandals. Other than this, great shoe. Highly recommended.

Love these shoes! So cute and comfy too! They do run small, so get a half size larger than your usual size. They are sandals, so no arch, or a lot of padding, but I like to think of these as the adult version of Saltwater sandals. The only drawback is that they are kind-of expensive. Alas, they're exactly what I was looking for.

The straps on these sandals are great - the leather looks great and I’ve had absolutely no uncomfortable rubbing. The sole, on the other hand, is not so good. It is very thin and flat, and after walking a block or two, feels like bare feet on pavement. So, I don’t really like wearing these anytime I have to walk anywhere. I have bad feet, so they might not be so bad for everyone, but I wish I would’ve returned them before I wore them.

These sandals are great! I did order a half size larger, not sure why, but I’m glad I did. They fit like a glove and are very comfortable. What I really like is that they have somewhat of a gladiator style, but not over the top and will remain in style a long time.

Great shoe! Comfy to walk in, no break-in time at all and good quality for the price. Obviously no arch support but it's a summer sandal so I wasn't expecting the ultimate in foot comfort. No bother - it comes in 5.5, which not many shoes do and not many stores carry! Thanks Zappos!

Love The Journal Sandals!
I have to agree with the previous reviews that this shoe is super cute, very comfortable, and very versatile. The straps don't rub anywhere and they go with everything. And Zappos makes it so easy to shop for shoes! I couldn't be happier.

I bought these in blue and love them. They are very comfortable, run true to size in my opinion (someone else said they thought they ran a 1/2 size small) and are very versatile. They look great with pants, shorts, skirts, and jeans. Love the blue color.

Perfect, stylish summer sandals!!
Love love love these sandals! I have been searching for a good pair of flats like this in the new summer style, but so many have no padding in the sole whatsoever, making them not so practical. These are stylish and comfy. I usually wear a 5 and ordered a 5.5 because that's all they had in the color I wanted, and it fits perfectly. Also, if you have wide feet, this sandal may not be for you, as the front-most strap does not adjust. The Whiskey Gaucho color is beautiful! So pleased with this purchase!!

If you are thinking about buying these sandals: Do it! I just got them in the mail and they are made out of the softest most buttery leather. They are cushioned, comfortable and just plain beautiful, and the two buckles attach to the same piece of leather so they will be easy to adjust when they inevitably stretch out. Love them! Bought the steve madden azucar last year and can't believe the quality difference for the same price! The design is clever, too and looks good on the foot.

I love these! At first I thought maybe they were a little weird, but then I changed my mind and decided they were extremely cute! They have a little padding on the sole as well, which was nice because a lot of strappy sandals don’t have that. I ordered a 9.5 and normally wear a 10, but these fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I have to exchange my pair because the straps on the back were different sizes and so each sandal fit differently. Hopefully the next pair will be perfect!
