Good intentions, but not a pleasing package. The ankle of this bootie is so wide as to give the impression that I'm a kid wearing my mom's shoes; the look is not good. But if you have wider ankles (mine are twiggy) or plan to wear these with pants or scrunchy socks, these could work. The footbed is plush, with gel-filled pockets that feel like heaven under your feet; the toe is wide enough to offer comfort, too. But the leather around the ankle is stiff and loose enough that it cuts into the ankle. Perhaps this would soften with time, but in the meantime you would have to wear ultra-padded socks.

These really appear to be nicely made, but even though I have ordered shoes in my size that fit from Zappos before, these are too small. I ordered three different items and all ran too small for me to wear.

 |  | Hello! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who works for Zappos. As of yesterday, I've ordered from Zappos five times over the last couple years. I usually get my orders the next day, and the longest it's taken has only been two days, and I think that's just awesome! At my job I work in customer service and think it's very important to like to help people in a job like that. I can tell Zappos employees must love their jobs because everyone does such great job. With every one of my orders, it only proves there really isn't a better place to shop on line, (or shop anywhere, in general)!
