Tights work good for compression. They are tight in the groin but you get used to it. They are not particularly warm but I do believe that they help prevent my muscles from getting tired and I stayed warm enough while skiing in A Basin for four days. It remains to be seen how durable they are but I would recomend them based on my experience so far.
