It\'s so hard to find a perfect boot. This one get\'s pretty close - it\'s a good looking, comfortable boot. My calf is 16.5 at the widest point, and this boot zipped up on an 8.5 E. My problem was with the ankle, which I thought was too loose. I felt like it fit more like a rainboot than a knee high boot. This is the perfect boot for someone who has wide ankles in addition to wide calves.

Not wide enough for my 17 inch calf. I have never been fortunate enough to have the skinny calves for boots. After reading plenty of reviews from other women with larger calves than mine, I was hoping that these boots would work. No such luck again! I was so bummed. I got these boots on and only zipped up halfway. I measured my leg again just to make sure I wasn't in error and every part of my lower leg is smaller than 17-1/2". I then measured the circumference of the boot and it was 14-1/2". Somewhere this math is not adding up. I'm not saying all you fabulous ladies didn't get your boots to fit, but I would have to have a cobbler stretch them from here to the moon to fit. With that said, the quality and fit of the foot portion were excellent and I would have absolutely kept these boots had they fit.

This boot fit, albeit snugly, around my 18-inch calf (at size 8.5), so if you're looking for a wide shaft boot, consider this one. I returned it because it was too shiny, a little too snug for my taste, and the heel was higher than I expected. The top part of the boot is way cooler than the bottom.

I. love. these. boots! Having received them overnight due to awesome shipping on returns by Zappos, I received these boots less than 24 hours ago. I am already in love with them. They are even better looking than the picture and so incredibly comfortable, fitting beautifully. I wear a size 10, wide foot, and needed a wide shaft or calf along with a smaller heel because I am tall. After a lot of buying, trying, and sending back (all with wonderful and fast service from Zappos), my search is over! Even more, I live in New York City and arrived at work today with these boots on to break them in at the office. I panicked a bit when I realized I had to walk all over the city for a client. 50+ blocks later, they are still as comfortable as ever, the walk was even enjoyable! I recommend these to anyone; these are the perfect boots, stylish (wear with pant suites, jeans, or skirts) and comfortable! Thank you Zappos, I recommend you to everyone I know!

Loving these boots! I was about ready to give up on tall shaft bootmakers who claim their boots will fit wide calf girls like myself, until I found these! The boots are stylish and very comfortable. I've received a lot of compliments. The only down side is that the top of the boot does have that stretchy material (to help fit the widest part of the leg) and in my opinion, that's sort of a cheap way to do it, but at least they fit good and the faux crocodile and buckle help disguise the stretch band. The leather is supple and doesn't bulge out at the ankles like some tall boots do. These are a must for everyone's fall wardrobe.

Lovely boot and very wide in the wide! The shaft is very wide. They didn't work out for my daughter, but they are a beautiful boot. Zappos is my favorite online shoe store!

I love these boots. I have wide feet, a high instep and big calves. I was afraid it was going to be hopeless to find cute comfortable boots to wear with skirts. These are perfect!

I'm so disappointed in these boots. They look great in the photos and have been sold out for weeks. When I finally got my pair, I could tell immediately that they wouldn't work because they aren't just wide in the calf; they're also very wide in the ankle. Combined with the thin leather, you get a super slouchy and very sloppy look. I was also disappointed with the quality of the "croc" style leather around the calf as it looks and feels like plastic. I can't imagine these working on anyone unless they are very full throughout the calf and ankle.

Most comfortable boot ever. These boots were extremely comfortable. Fit my wide calves with room to tuck jeans, too! Good support for my high arches. Definitely a keeper.

I finally found a pair of boots that fit my calf, but they were too big! I wear a 7.5, but these fit at least a whole size too big. Even when I lined them up to all my other shoes, they measured longer. I wasn't too thrilled with the material quality for the price. Sorry these are going back.

Finally, a cute knee-high boot that fits. I've always had big calves and I rarely find boots that fit. This knee-high riding boot is perfect! It is extremely comfortable (and required no break-in time), supportive, and true-to-size. The leather is very soft and flexible and the boot is easy to put on because of the zipper that runs all the way down the boot. I've never bought Naturalizer before because their styles don't usually appeal to me, but this boot is perfect. The only thing that was different than what I expected is the calf size. The largest boot shaft diameter is near the top, but my calf is larger a little farther down from there. So even though I measured my calf and it was within the listed dimensions, it is a little snug on me. Luckily the leather is very soft so it is comfortable now, and it will stretch in time. I can still wear it over skinny jeans.

I was born with two club feet and while I have done my share of dancing, hiking, and generally having fun with feet that work okay, the many operations left them rather unpretty, a little misshapen and definitely wider/shorter than most feet in proportion to the carrying bodies. Finding shoes that fit and are comfortable is a rarity for me. I search through stores regularly, more often than not
leaving empty handed. I took a chance with Zappos. There were some excellent deals and the size claimed to be what I might need. A box arrived. It said "Packed with Happiness." Inside was my order – 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. They not only all fit, they all fit amazingly well. The box may very well have been packed with happiness, but let me tell you, not as much happiness as it was opened with!!! Thank you oh so much. You can't imagine what this is for me.
