I wear a size ten (rarely an eleven, would love more 10.5s in the world) with a narrow heel and a wide toe and the ten in these fits me comfortably in tights or thin socks. There's no width to spare but the length is just fine. I'm slightly underwhelmed by the style, the sporty-looking pale sole/ring around the top of the sole doesn't work for me in person, but the quality is solid and they're wonderfully easy to pull on and off for a tall, zipperless boot. So far I'm having a little bit of trouble with my heels. It's not terrible, I wore them all day with something over three miles of walking and no blistering, but there's some minor abrasion/irritation at the heel that makes me wish for a smoother, softer finish inside. I think the comfort (early days heel dubiousness notwithstanding), solid construction, and ease of wear will make these a dependable part of my wardrobe, but I wish I loved them more.

Just got these this morning in black, and have been wearing them all day. I have larger athletic calfs and they fit perfectly - I can\'t remember the last time I\'ve worn a knee-high pull-on boot. I won\'t be able to wear jeans tucked into them as others have mentioned, but I don\'t really like that look anyway. The leather is rich, the tread doesn\'t slip, and there\'s room for warm socks and my orthotics. Perfect for wearing with a sweater dress and tights, or a tunic and leggings. I\'m very happy.

I chose these over three other similar boots, looking for pull-on, not zippered leather medium to tall boots. I love these for their comfort, quality, classic style, detailed styling, and versatility. I can walk around in these all day, shopping in city streets or walking the farm.

I absolutely love these boots. The quality of the leather is great and the fit. Very comfortable. I have to order a wide width and I was thankful that this boot was offered in a width other than B. They look great with sweater dresses and tunics with skinny jeans.

I love these boots. They remind me of my first pair of Frye boots that I had when I was a teenager, only they're better. Very comfortable. They look good with jeans or a skirt. I get compliments whenever I wear them.

Runs about 1/2 size too small! Otherwise cool boots! I love the boots now that I've exchanged them. I wear a solid size 10 and my friend wears a 7, but we each needed to go up a half size (unfortunately for me no 10.5 so I had to go to an 11, but I don't mind thick socks in the winter). It wasn't the width, just the length. Very pretty boots though and the calf size is nice that it isn't so narrow. I was pleasantly surprised that Zappos made such a speedy switch out!

Love them!
When I initially tried these on I thought they were a bit tight, and I almost returned them, but then I wore them around the house for a few hours and they stretched out just slightly and are now perfectly comfortable (and true to size)! They do slouch a little, but they are so cute in every other way it doesn't bother me!

The style of the Bethel Tall is really cute and a bit more on the everyday/rugged side rather than dressy. The color of the wheat oiled nubuck is quite beautiful as well. You can tell they are sturdy, comfortable, and well made. I live in the "country" and I could definitely see that these would be a great stylish outdoor boot. For those of us with larger calves, the fit is perfect. However, I agree with another review that the leather was such that it was perfect up top, but sagged in the ankle area which made it look a bit strange, unless of course you are looking for that slouched look, although I do not believe that is what Timberland had in mind with these. Everything else was so perfect for me about them that I was reluctant to send them back, but can't live with the bunching at the ankles. I think someone with a little more lower calf and ankle would find them just right.

These boots are so comfortable. I was looking for some riding boots but opted for these. They I think will be just as cute with dresses, skirts and boots. I have three boys and go hunting and walk through woods, and need a boot that would be utilitarian and stylish. I think they are both. My boyfriend thinks they are hot. flattering on the leg. can walk in them!

Comfortable, high quality but leather was strange. I ordered this boot in the warm tan color. It is actually a beautiful color and a well-made boot. Fit nicely, and was comfortable as I walked around the house. However, the leather itself is strange. It is not easy to see in the photo, but the leather is not sturdy enough to keep a nice shape. It forms waves up and down the boot, so while it isn't supposed to look slouchy, it ends up looking unkempt, forms an odd silhouette. It was a real shame, because I liked everything else about the boot. But they are going back tomorrow. Great service from Zappos, as always.
