OMG! These are the best sandals ever. They are stylish and very comfortable. I have bunions and the fact that the leather stretches in the front helps my feet not be in pain. I can be in these all day. They ran true to size for me. I ordered the 7 and they were fine. I love the bronze color with the textured leather. These go great with skirts, jeans etc. This is the first pair of Kork Ease I buy and won’t be the last. Thank you Zappos for your great service.

I got the Bette's as a gift and I LOVE these sandals!!! They truly are comfortable. I'm so tempted to get the natural color like the original ones from the 70s. hmmmmm :o)

OMG, these shoes are the best. I was looking for a pair of cute sandals that gave me height and were comfortable. I have horrible feet, bunions. Therefore, lately any shoes whether flip flops or closed toe shoes hurt my feet. These are like walking on clouds, and don’t hurt my bunions at all! I can wear them all day! They look great with anything, jeans, skirts, capris etc. The perfect summer shoe. I got it in the bronze goes with everything. I love zappos, they have great variety of shoes and service is impeccable!

I love this sandal. So comfy, didn't need to break them in, they are great. Even though they are really high they are so easy to walk in! I wear them all the time.

Love them- I decided to try to pick just one great sandal for this summer, and this is my pick :) Just perfect- very comfortable plus height! The ankle strap is a little big as mentioned, but I have had no trouble and they hold the shoes in place so you won't slip off of them. I love that they are a classic. I've had them for a couple of months now and they still look perfect, now I just want the lower pair too in a lighter color to wear with shorts! I'm a picky customer, these shoes are just Love :)

When this shoe first arrived I thought it might be too small, now after wearing them out they stretch a bit. I love this shoe! I can wear these with a black pencil skirt for work or jeans during my down time. I love how comfy they are. For me comfort is king! I had wondered if the height might be too much for me, but that has not been the case. My Kork Ease are in Gold and go with everything from boho dresses to jeans to like I said, work clothes. I simply adore these shoes and got tons of compliments on them. I will definitely buy another pair during the summer season.

Why suffer, when you can Bette -
Walk all day or dance all night. All of the height, and none of the pain. These are cute, and so very comfy. I am past the point in my life where I want to suffer to look good. This is my compromise, and I got them in gold too. Just be careful with them because the sides of the wedge are suede and scratch easily. Put them in a bag before stuffing them in your weekend suitcase so they don't get scratched up.

A happy flash back -
I remember these well...and they are even more comfortable now that I am in my 40's. They look good with everything...my kids liked them. Of course my husband said that they are too high. (But what do men know...honestly) I plan to buy more...here in Hawaii I can wear them all year. One added plus is that...living on Maui, there is very limited shoe shopping. I hate having shoes that everyone has. I guess I love being a little different. Just wish Zappos had faster shipping to the Islands though...I would gladly pay. The straps are a bit loose...so I hope they don't stretch too much. I got a size 5, instead of 6...I didn't want to wait!!!

Love The Kork Ease -
I wanted these shoes since last summer and they were sold out in my size. Finally nabbed a pair and couldn't be happier!! They are super cute & comfortable!! Seriously, if you are into wedges the way I am, you must own a pair!! My only complaint, is the ankle strap stretched just enough already where I have to get another hole put in it, so the fit will be back to perfect. That's minor and leather stretches! These are great especially if you live in a walking city, I walked and walked for days in them and felt great.

Possibly the most comfortable shoe I’ve EVER worn -
I cannot possibly rave enough about these shoes - I work close to 12 hours a day and I can be in them from morning to night and NEVER experience any pain or discomfort. I wish they came in more styles because I'd buy them year-round! AMAZING!

OK...I had to laugh reading some of these reviews...I thought I was the only one that clomped around in my sisters shoes waiting to be an adult so I could wear clogs, platforms and anything else my mother thought I was too young for. Comfort, sexy and goes with everything...JACKPOT!!! Now I want the gray and French pink ones. I have waited over 25 years to feel like my sisters did!!

Great shoe - I waited for this shoe to become available in my size. I have to wear a half size smaller than usual and the ankle strap is big so needed to add extra holes. It is comfortable and stylish. The platform is light and easy to walk on. And I love the extra height. I have three pairs in different colors. Great with a sun dress or short.

The Kork-Ease Bette did not disappoint. The 4 inch wedge is surprisingly easy to walk in and feels stable, never wobbly. The ankle strap is a little loose in the heel and tightening the buckle only makes it tighter in the front. I got the chocolate brown first and ordered a second pair in black. They go with just about everything except a little black cocktail dress.

These shoes ROCK!
I adore these shoes... so much so that even though they're on the pricey side, I bought two pairs! (The black and the french pink, which is a very pretty natural color- great for summer.) I love them because they're EXTREMELY comfortable for such a high shoe, and the styling is such that they can be either dressy or more casual (I've worn them with cargo shorts, for example). I've only had them about a month, but they seem like they'll last forever. So... they're pricey, but WORTH IT!
And Zappos, of course, is absolutely amazing as always. I got these shoes the two days after I ordered them.

Well worth the wait - One of the coolest things about Zappos is that if they do not have the shoe that you want in stock, they will notify you if they eventually get it. (And note: Be patient! They will not forget you! A year after I wanted a shoe, they got it in my size and notified me! Amazing!) I only had to wait a few months for them to get Bette in my size in black, and it was well worth the wait. The shoe has a kind of retro-70s look, yet does not look dated. It's unbelievably comfortable for a heel this high, and it’s quite stable even though the heel tapers at the bottom. The toe bed is slightly more padded than the rest of the shoe, so you do not experience that pain in the ball of the foot that heels can cause. I wore it all day shopping and had no breaking-in blisters or discomfort. Also, I tend to like a shoe that turns men's heads, and this one does. I was wearing it with jeans but imagine that it will look even hotter with a nice dress or a funky miniskirt. The only drawback I found to the shoe is that the metal buckle seems a little flimsy. I have a feeling that it will need to be replaced or repaired long before the shoe itself wears out, otherwise the shoe is really well-made. The suede-wrapped platform is gorgeous. Initially I balked a bit at the price of Bette (and Kork-Ease in general) but I was buying these to reward myself for a 20 pound weight loss and now feel that both I and the shoes are worth the cash. I highly recommend the shoes and I can't say enough good things about Zappos!

I just got these today, and I really am in love. Super cute and amazingly comfortable. I am 6'2" when I wear them and I don't care. If you have pasty white skin like me - consider French Pink as your perfect leg-lengthening neutral. I normally wear a 9.5-10, I ordered a 10 and it fits perfectly. Plenty of room. I have not-un-wide feet and there was literally no break in time. I can walk in them - nay, scamper even, if necessary - and even drive a stick shift with no problem. Love!

I used to have these shoes just like everyone else did in the late 70's… except I, of course, had them in tan and they were just "a few inches lower!!! Anyway, I love them now just as I did then, but I love the higher heel. I had first ordered the lower heels thinking that the Bettes would be too hard to walk in, but as it turns out, the higher ones in the Bette style are much more comfortable for me. I think it has to do with the fact that I have very flat feet and the heel with the arch makes it more comfortable. Overall, they are very lightweight and very easy to walk in. Everyone should have a pair of these no matter how old you are!!! Buy them now!!!

I have these shoes in black, silver, gold, brown, and blue. I love them. They are great for wide feet and are very light. They only come in full sizes but it's fine. I always say, go a size bigger. I'm an 8 & 1/2 and bought a size 9. I wish they made them in white.

My favorite shoe -
I absolutely love this shoe! I ordered the purple and love the color, the suede is beautiful. I can wear it with anything, skirts, jeans, shorts. It's very versatile. It's comfortable for being four inches high, but it's still slightly difficult to walk in, and I'm used to heels! The other reviewer was right; you definitely can't scamper in these shoes! I wouldn't mind having them in other colors...

I Love My Kork-Ease!!
These are really great sandals - they are just as good-looking and comfortable as they were when I wore them in high school (4 and a half inch heel and all!). The price is now certainly more than I remember, but they are worth every penny!

I love Bette!
I bought these shoes in brown to wear on my birthday. My 45th birthday! I normally wear flip-flops, Uggs, and Merrells. I never, ever wear heals. We had a DJ, and were dancing all night. My feet never hurt once! I love these shoes!

Kork-Ease Bette-not for narrow feet -
I love the look of this shoe and for a tall shoe it seems comfortable. Unfortunately it is definitely made for an average foot, my narrow foot slides right through the front.
