I ordered these shoes to function both as a comfortable alternative to athletic shoes and something dressier that wouldn't kill my feet. They look great with a skirt or pants, and I have no complaints about their look. However, I thought they would be far more comfortable than they are. They have an almost nonexistent arch, and for someone with high arches, that's bad. There's room for arch inserts, but it would be nice if they weren't necessary.The footbed isn't hard, per se, but it's nowhere near as soft as I expected. I can walk for a while in them, but after a few hours my feet are done for. These aren't bad shoes, but some more cushion and arch support would go a long way.

I spend a lot of time walking through airports, and needed a pair of shoes that would be comfortable for walking but would also look good with business suits. (I\'m 56 and readily admit that now I consider happy feet a greater priority than high-fashion!) These shoes work perfectly. They felt great right out of the box, and I really like the way they look. And how can you not love Zappos??

I am teacher and am on my feet a lot during the workday. These shoes are very comfortable; there was no "break-in period," which I appreciate. They felt great right out of the box. I am very happy with them.

These shoes are cute, if a little subdued. They seem to be very well constructed, and very well padded--though, I found the lump of padding that hit at the ball of my foot to be uncomfortable after about 5 seconds of wearing them. Possibly it could squish out and become more comfortable after extended wear, but I didn\'t want to take that chance, so I returned them. It just felt odd. I guess I just have the wrong kind of foot for these shoes.

Fit: I occasionally wear between an 8.5 and a 9 so I ordered a 9N to be on the safe side. The width was perfect, but I still had a good deal of space around my big toe so I think I'll go with an 8.5 if I reorder. The shoe provides a good deal of support and felt really cushy walking around. The biggest pro for me was that the back of the shoe did not dig into my heel immediately and, even though I'm exchanging sizes so I can't be sure, it felt like it would be possible to wear these comfortably with very little breaking in. Style: The black leather is high quality, not too shiny, really supple. In person, the shoes look a tiny bit more matronly than I expected, but will still be cute enough with a skirt or slacks. Overall: I ordered these because I wanted a cute pair of shoes that would be professional enough to wear to work and comfortable enough to stand in all day. If I can exchange them for a 1/2 size smaller, they will definitely fit the bill.

My daughter loved these shoes until the buttons popped off the sides. Now she cannot wear them. We bought them for school, and within 6 weeks we\'re back at Zappos looking for new shoes. If you\'re very active, then these shoes are not for you.

I'm at a point in my life when comfort is upper most in my mind when it comes to shoes. These fit the bill and are dressy enough to go from work to a social event. They fit well and seem true to size.

This is a very nice, comfortable shoe. I ordered the 7 WW. It fits perfectly! I have a very high arch so I need a wide shoe and this fits the bill. Very cute too! The only thing I am disappointed about is the lining of both shoes is coming out at the toes. This happened after the first time I wore them. I was a little surprised from a high quality shoe, but nothing a little glue can\'t fix, hopefully.

I purchased these shoes to wear at one of my son's wedding. I didn't wear them until the day of the wedding and I will say that I am very pleased with these shoes. They were very comfortable and I didn't have a problem with my feet at all that day. THANK YOU!
