Overall great shoe, especially for fall and winter! Here's the breakdown on Fit and Style: Fit: Shoes run 1/2 a size long and the width feels pretty snug, at first, for a "D". I usually wear a 10, but had to return my first purchase for 9.5. This is because of the shape of the shoe that accentuates the toe. The width overall didn't bother me because as they break in you can tell that they will become almost custom fitted. Style: The split toe gives this shoe a unique look. The leather is low gloss, but stylish. The best part is the knobby soles that are all the rage in recent GQ issues. Not only are they comfortable, but they give you added grip on wet pavement!
Other brands recommended by reviewer: To Boots are right up there in style points with TODS, Bruno Magli...but a little easier on the wallet

 |  | Dear Zappos, I just wanted to send a quick note to tell you that I will be a loyal customer for as long as you exist! I have never once had a bad experience with Zappos.com and have found even returning a product is pain-free. Many people find buying shoes online to be a process that is a hassle based on shipping costs and not getting a chance to see the shoe actually on their foot, but you have done a tremendous job not only making shipping easy, and FREE, but also providing a number of angles for a shoe online so it can best be represented without physically holding it. I have purchased numerous shoes, sandals and boots from Zappos over the years and have never once been disappointed. Most recently, I was upgraded to expedited shipping for free on my most recent purchase, which again pointed out why I love Zappos so much! My educational background is a degree in marketing as well as an MBA focused in strategic management, which makes me extra critical of things like customer service as well as other business functions. Zappos always comes up as my example of companies who are doing things right and charting their own path to success. I recommend your site to people all the time and hopefully they will experience the delight I have come to know as 'the norm' when dealing with Zappos. Thank you to everybody there for their hard work, dedication and emphasis on the customer. It is not going unrecognized and you have me hooked for life!
