This is a very classic shoe. The fit is superb and the height of the heel is just right for me. The 2&1/2 inch heel is comfortable to walk in all day. I am surprise that you don't have it in brown.

Can I just tell you that I love the look of this shoe? The mix of leather and fabric make it versatile enough to go with anything. The cut-outs on the sides are attractive and the heel is a good height. Unfortunately, even though I ordered my normal size and width, they are a little snug. I have tried them on in the morning and in the evening and either way, I find them a little snug. However, I am not returning them because I did not find them so snug that they were unwearable. I may regret that decision, but only time will tell.

Comfort and good Looks -
This shoe is elegant and comfortable. You can dress it up or down. I wore it to a wedding, stood for long periods of time, danced, and felt no fatigue. Love it!

Great height, great for all day wear. Very versatile shoe, good for work, good for casual. Cut outs on the side give it a modern feel. Thumbs up!

Beautiful shoe at a modest price -
Love this shoe. I saw a very similar shoe on zappos.com by David Pliner. The Pliner price was more then twice what I paid for the Circa Joan & Davids. I love Pliner but did not want to invest over $200 - especially since Joan & David makes a great product. It is a little tight - that is the only negative comment I have. This is a very pretty, professional, comfortable shoe. I bought it for work and love it. The price was great and the style is sweet.

Great looking pair of shoes, elegant and not overly dressy to limit where it can be worn. I wore them first time to a club, danced all night long, do I have to say anything else???

 |  | You're pretty awesome. Let me count the ways: 1. You make it easy for me to find great shoes. That should be enough. BUT I SOLDIER ON. 2. Pretty darn good website. There are lil' bugs here and there (sometimes narrowing a search doesn't totally work, but for the most part it does), but comparing you folks to some other nightmarish sites I've used, especially with the sheer amount of product you have for me to see...well done. 3. Convenience. HOLY CONVENIENCE, BATMAN! Much like Ian McKaye of the band Fugazi, I am a patient boy, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait, I'll wait. But when I order from you I don't have to. I've had shoes get to me so fast I actually thought there must have been a mistake because it got to me TOO quickly. Guys, that is some serious service. This is why I buy shoes exclusively from you. 4. Customer Service. I had a store credit recently, but like an idiot, I deleted the email with the credit code. I called up and talked to a totally friendly, funny, helpful guy. He said he'd take care of emailing me the code and all would be right with the world. OH NOES! The email, actually never showed up. So I called back and spoke with a totally friendly, funny, helpful girl (with a completely pretty voice, I'll be honest) and she got me a coupon code while I was on the phone (THAT'S good turnaround) and explained that there were the dreaded *technical difficulties* and the other dude didn't actually screw up. Guys, I've never talked to a company on the phone and ended with such a good feeling. I have friends that I don't enjoy talking to on the phone that much. Close friends. Is it ok if I just call to talk sometime? I'm kidding. Maybe. 5. You ALL seem to have a sense of humor. You guys are frakkin' funny! Your email, any of the “dig deeper” sort of stuff (blogs, joke of the day, etc.). That is beyond refreshing, thank you so much :) Honestly, as long as you guys are around, you got my bidness.
