My Husband bought me this pair of shoes, I am normally a size 5.5 but size 6 fits me very well, so these shoes run a bit smaller. I use the for walking and running and they are a vast improvement on the shoes I\'ve been using in comfort, ankle support and heel and toe cushioning.

Love the shoe, but it runs narrow. The other 800 Series all terrain ran wide. I plan to try the Wide, but worry that they'll be too wide.

Bingo! At last a really comfortable shoe, good enough to order a second pair for future when these wear out (I did)! Ordered 1/2 size larger than usual, seemingly standard for New Balance. Handles a Spenco insert well with lots of toe room left. Great all day, daily walks, light hiking, and at the gym. Dries quickly when wet. Very satisfied.

I only wear New Balance. This one has a wide toe box and a narrow heel, which I need. I hope they have enough cushioning for jogging. They fit well.

Just received these and really like them. I use NB for walking and these have more room in the toe box and length than my old 554\'s - I wear a 12 M. A little heel slippage, but thicker socks will take care of that. The color is good,too, and they don\'t look as clunky as my old ones. Zappo\'s service is always great!

These New Balance shoes are so comfortable! There is plenty of room for my toes, and the material stretches in the area above the toe. It is nice to be able to move your toes around inside the shoes. The shoes protect the sole of my foot with all of the material inside and outside. I bought the red ones. They are attractive and a change from either black or white New Balance shoes for those of us with wide feet. The service from Zappos has always been wonderful, and I appreciate the free returns.

The shoes that we purchase from Zappos have always lived up to the quality expected. Our biggest praise is for the company. We truly believe that the service, from ordering to destination, is the best that can be offered. Thank you for being an outstanding company. As always, New Balance sneakers fit and have excellent support and comfort. As always, Zappos has great service. The neutral colors on these are very attractive if you are tired of mostly white sneaks.

These sneakers are awesome! I am very loyal to New Balance because they always fit like a glove! It takes one or two jogs to mold into them but after that, you are good.

I used to be able to buy New Balance shoes online with the expectation that they would fit. Not anymore. I never know whether to order them wider or longer or the same size as before. It took quite a few tries to get the right size with this last pair. Zappos customer service is phenomenal. I ordered about 5 different sizes over a period of about 2 weeks and finally got the right fit. The shoes usually came the day after they were ordered! Returning the ones that didn't fit was simple and free. I might have been able to save a few dollars buying shoes from another website, but I am sure the experience wouldn't have been so painless! By the way, the shoes are great, too.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I always buy New Balance.

Love the shoes! This is my second pair. I run and walk in these shoes. I would go up a half size, I am a 9 and the 9 just fit. The 9 1/2 feels great.

The New Balance shoes are just what I wanted. Shoes for walking in a color that is not white or too loud. I put in my own footbed for more arch support. The shoestrings stay tied without double knotting! Good fit.

I love New Balance shoes. All of my athletic and casual tennis shoes are New Balance. I especially like this shoe. It is super comfortable and looks great. I wear these all the time--almost daily. I have a wide foot and the wide size of this shoe fits perfectly.

As a woman with larger, wider feet, I always purchase New Balance shoes for both their look and fit. This shoe is no exception. Very comfortable and excellent traction. Looks great, too- the colors are more subdued in person. I would absolutely recommend this shoe, especially to folks with wide feet.
