The shoe looks exactly as in pic. The comfort is good for casual activities but the shoe IS not good for skating. There is no cushion when you land so your knees absorb all the damage. Also the toe pattern meets the lace pattern exactly where your little toe is which means every time you ollie there is a 1/4 inch thick pattern seam cutting into your little toe. After about 4 hrs of thrashing my knees hurt and I have a bruise on my toe which will be a callous in a couple days. I recommend them for casual but for skating definitely not.

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
