This item runs pretty much true to size in width and length to slightly oversized. I normally wear an 11 1/2 or 12 in shoes and boots, but if you're in between sizes, you should definitely go with the smaller size. I purchased an 11.5 and even while wearing thick wool socks feel like I could maybe get by with an 11 as they stretch over time. These boots look great, but do not have the greatest construction quality. Even though the soles appear to be stitched, they are simply bonded to the mid and to the uppers. Over time this will lead to splitting and separation. Yes, these boots feel good and "broken in" right out of the box, but that's because the leather is flimsy and thin, something you might see used as a lining instead of an upper in other brands known for quality construction, such as Red Wing or Danner. This lesser quality leather will eventually crack and split at stress points. I would pay 1/4 of the retail price for boots, but certainly not full price! You could easily find a boot of far superior quality and comparable style for what Cole Haan suggests for retail price. If you're looking for a pair of boots to last one season these might work, but if you want a pair of boots to last for years, then you should look somewhere else.

 |  | Hi, Zappos has been one of my favorite shopping sites for a while, but now my teenage son is a fan. He is 15 and wears a size 15 shoe. It is no easy feat to find a shoe that he will wear that is in his size. Other stores carry the skate brands, but stop at a size 13. I suggested he look on your site and he found several styles he would wear in size 15. We placed the order for a pair of Vans and 20 minutes later, I got a confirmation that they were shipped.
