T-Strap not good for a "puffy" top of foot. The wide width itself isn't really as wide as say, Jumping Jacks.

Gorgeous, classic shoe that goes with everything. My 5-yr old loves it in the black patent, and this is her second pair as she had the same last year. However, this last pair lasted 4 weeks before the strap tore off. She came home from school with a piece of duck tape holding it together... the prior model last year was sturdier and lasted the whole school year. The "crocodile" pattern of the strap seems to be thinner. Not solid enough for an everyday school shoe.

My daughter absolutely adores these shoes. Unfortunately, she's now 18 months old and still insists on wearing them, although she's grown out of them! (Time to do a switch-a-roo with a new pair from Zappos!) These follow the more old-school, European-style of shoes for kids (more rigid soles) rather than the soft-soled style of See Kai Run, etc. They seem to offer good support and have thick soles. However, my daughter seems to have a high instep (without having a wide foot), so as soon as the shoe fit her length-wise, the strap didn't stay fastened across the top of her foot. Looks-wise, they are a hit. We've had so many women come up and say, "Look at those beautiful shoes!" They are more traditionally-styled shoes, so if you like that, go for it!

 |  | My first experience with Zappos.com was during the winter a few years ago when I needed a pair of silver sandals to wear during the holidays. I saw Zappos.com advertised at the airport and thought to see what they were about. The rest is history. During that search for sandals I had as many as nine pairs here to try. They came the day after I ordered them via FedEx and those I didn't choose (I ended up with two pairs) I put back in the box, taped it shut, attached the prepared return label they had enclosed with the shipment, and dropped them off at the packaging store that same day. They were gone almost as easily as walking away from a pile of tried on rejects in the department store! Since then I use them more than 70% of the time when I am shoe shopping. There really isn't anything quite like trying on shoes with the clothes in my closet as well as trying for fit and comfort. It's an ideal way to buy shoes and I highly recommend it!
