These shoes are a little hard to break in, but now they are terrific. They have lots of arch support and I can wear them all day at work.

I agree with Cynthia; I don't understand why these are so popular. Or I do, but that's probably because I'm cynical. I walk several miles a day and haven't had any problems with my last two shoes, a Northwest Face with a Footlocker insole and my wonderful Tevas. Danskos rearrange your feet so that the bones blah blah blah, my feet were fine before I got the Danskos, and now I have trouble walking as far in my old shoes, and I sure as hell wouldn't try walking long distances in the Danskos. My toe keeps hitting the front of the shoe and the soles of my feet hurt for days afterwards. When I asked the woman who sold them to me (a Dansko/Birkenstock direct dealer), she told me to "wear thicker socks" and the return policy sucks, so if you don't like them you're pretty much screwed. If all you're doing is standing around or walking short distances, you're probably fine, but if you're healthy to begin with, stay away from these turkeys.

My Danskos are very uncomfortable. There is no cushioning and my toe continues to hit the front. I got the right size as the ad said to order right size with open back so my heel is in the proper place. I really do not understand why they are so popular. I wish I could get my money back considering how much I paid, but I have worn them in the hopes that they would become more comfortable. Hate them.

LOVE this clog, I am a nurse and on my feet for long hours, I need a serious shoe for work and this is truly THE ONLY SHOE I can wear without pain! No inserts, nothing it's very comfortable. Order down a size for the backless clog I'm a 38 but wear a 37 backless...am ordering another 2 pair with backs this month. Lets not forget Zappos...You are the best my clogs came in one day!!!! No kidding I never shop anywhere else; LOVE this company and when you call they are amazing, customer service extraordinaire!

My medical assistant.
My work as a medical assistant requires me to be on my feet all day, therefore, I need a comfortable shoe with plenty of arch support. I find I have all that with this shoe.I am glad I got the shoe in "black", it does not show wear and tear. I will buy again.

I love these shoes they are comfortable and true to size, as well as look great. I am very pleased with this product, and very pleased with this website. This is not the first time ordering from Zappos it is a great company. The shoes arrive quickly and if there is a problem with size they are so helpful in the return process. This will definitely be the website I will use for now on for my work shoes.

Comfortable, not fashionable -
I have worn Dansko shoes to work at a hospital since 1995. They always last for years and are easy to clean. They end up being a very good value since they last so long, and the sole does not compress or wear out like a pair of tennis shoes. This style is particularly good for hospital work because the leather on the top is thick and comes up pretty high on the top of the foot which is good for safety. I highly recommend this shoe for anyone who works on their feet all day.

Best Shoes Ever!
I am a teacher and on my feet all day, added to this I suffer from chronic Achilles tendonitis. These clogs are the first shoes I have found that allow me to get through the day/week pain free and still have energy to enjoy my free time instead of nursing my aching appendages

Very comfortable, great for your feet -
I'm a health care professional, and I'm on my feet all day long, these shoes are great, they have a great support. When you first try them on they may feel a little hard or tough on your feet, but once you get used to them you can wear them all day long without even feeling them.

Zappos shipping was incredible! I ordered it in the evening and still received it the next day! The shoes are very comfortable and look very professional. Well worth the money! I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 9.

I am a nurse working 12 hour shifts. The Sonja is an extremely comfortable shoe. Wearing other shoes I have ended my shift with sore feet and an aching back. I have a high arch and the Sonja gives my feet the support I need. I have been wearing Dansko shoes at work for the past 10 years and highly recommend them.

These shoes are so comfortable. Feels like heaven! I am a nurse asst. and on my feet all day. I was wearing a different brand and my cousin who is a nurse told me about Dansko and said it was well worth the money. Great Shoe!
I own this shoe in other colors and just had to add the white for summer wear. It is oh-so-comfortable, but best of all, lends wonderful support to my knees which have arthritis. Dansko’s are the best shoes for that. And Zappos it super great in getting shoes to me FAST!

The shoes felt 1/2 size smaller. The inside liner came unglued and bunched up making them extremely uncomfortable and wearable ...disappointed in the quality.

Dansko sonja blueberry -
I am an ultrasound technologist and often work 12 hr as well as double shifts when I am on call and these clogs are just heaven for the feet. I would wear them to sleep if I could! I normally wear a size 7 and I did have to return them for a size up *8 or 38, Zappos is beyond reproach as far as customer service.

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. They are very helpful to those who suffer from heel spurs or other feet problems. My only complaint is that the sizing is not always reliable. There is too large a range for each size.

I am a 50+ Blue Collar Worker (female) who has been working for over 30 years. In my youth, I was a dancer. Over the years, I managed to tear up my ankles and knees, and crack several small bones in my feet. I now have osteoarthritis in my feet, knees, and hips. I wear Dankso clogs most of the time -- all the time off the job and whenever I'm not in the field while on the job. I own 6 pairs of Dansko clogs and two pairs of Dansko sandals.

I like the Dansko Sonja so well that I also bought the Dansko Professional, which is the same shoe except it has a closed back. It is good looking, very comfortable, and the shoes are of very best quality. I ordered the same size as I always wear and it fit great, but I did feel it ran a little wider than marked. I am very happy with both shoes, and Zappos service can't be beat. "Can't go wrong!"

I needed a pair of comfortable white shoes. I work a trade shoe and stand appx. 12 hours a day for about 10 days. I usually wear sneakers. While shopping for a new pair, I came across these clogs in a shoe store. Being a size 5 they weren't able to fit me. A freind told me about Zappos.com. I had a great experience. The clogs arrived in a few days, fit great and were very comfortable.

Sonja Black Box Clog -
Beautiful shoe -- the Black Box was not available at our local shop where I tried on clogs for a fit. The 37M seemed perfect, so I ordered the Black Box in that size. When they arrived, they felt okay, but after wearing them the first day, they seem to be a bit shorter and narrower than I expected. I keep hoping they will stretch out a little.

Great clog for nurses -
I wore my new Sonja clogs to work for a 12 hour shift and the ER and loved them. I did find that I needed to go up one size for a good fit. The instep is taking some getting used to, but otherwise they were very comfortable. They don't slide off and hug the foot very well. I also noted that my back did not hurt at the end of my shift like it usually does, which is a huge plus!
