These shoes are beautiful, but not comfy enough for me. They have the perfect heel height for pants, beautiful soft leather, a chic look; but leather sole, I'm just not doing that anymore. I tried gel insoles which improved them a bit, but not enough. I really want a shoe/boot that is super comfortable and doesn't bother me after quite a few hours. I ended up with Merrell Spire Stretch, which aren't quite so sleek, but same heel height and so comfortable. They look a lot like these, too. I have tons of Donald Pliner shoes, especially sandals. Wish good looking shoes would be more comfortable.

I love Donald J Pliner shoes and have been wearing this style of shoe for 8 years! They are comfortable, always stylish and great for traveling and always looking sharp no matter what you are wearing!

This is my second pair and I love these shoes! This year I bought them in the black crepe elastic, and they have a very groovy boot-like appearance. Don't let their snug, out of the box fit deter you from keeping them; as they will conform to your foot perfectly in just one wearing. I own several pairs of Donald Pliner shoes and sandals, and can promise you that they are well worth the money! I buy all of my shoes from Zappos, and wouldn't even consider shopping for shoes anywhere else. Their customer service is quite simply the very best!

These can run a bit tight - not sure that upping it by a half-size would\'ve done the trick for my foot. Just wearing a sheer sock or knee-stocking suffices. This is a great shoe - I love the heel, as it\'s higher than most of this style but no fear of the wobblies. I can wear these shoes with jeans or with a business pantsuit or even one that\'s more elegant. Zappos delivery was fast - I only buy shoes from Zappos, now, because of the convenience and huge range of choices.

I love these shoes! They are a great classic shoe that can be worn with slacks or jeans. I have purchased multiple pairs of both the black as well as the brown! They fit true to size and are also very comfortable.

Donald Pliner AAAs go COOL! I got the black lizard metallic stretch, just the right touch of glitz to make a dressy version of this wonderful, reliable, workhorse of a shoe; I own several in other fabrics and colors. Comfy RIGHT OUTTA THE BOX!

I'm impressed! Few companies care about customer service anymore because they seem to believe they have American consumers "over a barrel." Why provide good customer service when they don't have to? At least goes the thinking. I deplore talking to "Customer Service" representatives in overseas. I don't understand them and they don't understand me. And they don't solve problems, they just read from printed cue cards. So...THANK YOU for caring about customer service. It DOES matter to me, it DOES matter to the American public. Next time I need shoes, you'll be the first place I shop.
