I have had New Balances in the past, which I have absolutely loved. These were a disappointment for me. I ended up having to go up a full size from my normal size to get the right fit. I wear an 8.5 and had to go to a 9.5. They also are very flat & hard with very little support. These run narrow, too. However, these are very nice looking. If you need a shoe that is hard (nothing cushy), and runs narrow, this may be the one for you if you order up. As always, Zappos customer service was the best, and I will continue to buy from Zappos. Unfortunately, I'll have to return these.

I usually wear size 8.5, but my feet are a little narrower than usual. For that reason, I was afraid that these (B width) shoes would feel too wide. They did not. Furthermore, they are very comfortable and heel stabilizing (my heels turn in, or "pronate"). I'd rather not have the big "N" on the shoe, but this is a minor complaint.

Very well made, good arch support. Run a little smaller than previous New Balance shoes I have worn, had I tried them on first I would have gone up a half size. Nonetheless, they are quite comfortable. I wore them about 30 hours the first time I wore them and walked about 8 miles. Because of the length, I had some discomfort on my big toe, but no blistering despite the extensive wearing.

I liked the look of this shoe, however it was too narrow in the toe box for my fat feet. I had to return them and the transaction went well as always. Thanks Zappos!

The service from Zappos was great. Lately, it seems companies are raising prices and dropping customer service; such is not the case with Zappos. I enjoyed doing business with you and it will be my pleasure to do business with you again. The first pair of shoes you sent to me squeaked. They were immediately replaced even though the clerk informed me it is not your policy to replace worn shoes (how would I know they squeak unless they were worn?). That policy was of concern to me, but the matter was resolved. My new pair of shoes are just fine. Thank you for the fine and outstanding customer service.

I usually wear 10.5W or 11W. In this shoe I needed the 11W. It was immediately comfortable enough that I packed it as one of 2 pairs of shoes I was taking on a 2 week trip with lots of walking. The support is medium and the padding and features are far better than many far more expensive shoes that I own.

These shoes are narrow for a 2E. The toe is not rounded but tapers. I normally wear an arch support, but this shoe does not allow for that. I have to wear very thin socks to wear these shoes otherwise they are too tight. Other NB 2E shoes are much wider.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes in the UNIVERSE! So comfortable that I just purchased a second pair so that I could trade off wearing them, as I walk in them every day! I hope New Balance always makes these shoes!

Usually NB sneakers fit me really well but for some reason this pair felt snugger than usual even though it is my usual size. Also the bottom didn't seem as well padded. I would not purchase these again.

I like the style and the color. I was able to order the size I usually wear in New Balance shoes and the fit was good. So this model seems to run true to size. I use orthotics with no problem. Zappos has great customer service, and the shoes arrived the day after I ordered them.

This is a really nice looking shoe, but it is not true to size. I normally wear a size 10 wide. I ended up fitting in this shoe at a size 12 extra wide!!!!! I bought the 12 extra wide, but isn't that a crazy fit? It is quite comfortable though once you find the right size to wear.

I have narrow feet and plantar fasciitis as well. I teach and so I am on my feet all day. With my orthotics in these shoes I can go all day. I wish they came in more colors, but people with narrow feet can't be picky!

All I wear are New Balance shoes of various styles. Due to wide feet, I had trouble finding shoes that were comfortable until I found New Balance, however, these WW628 have too narrow a toe bed and 2E wasn’t even a near fit and the shoes were about a size too short also. They did not feel like a size 7.5 2E. They were very light weight.
