These shoes are great! I like that the toes don't peep out and that's why I bought them. They look great, unlike most sandals for toddler boys. They hold up well (except the inner lining after a month or so had to be pulled up, it was coming up and bugging my son). I think the big downside is the smell; they make my son's feet sweat and stink so bad. I have to constantly deodorize. I will take another reviewer's suggestion of washing them in a washer with some baking soda. I bought a size up so he can wear them next year, but the smell is ridiculous. My son's other shoes never stink. But they are quite durable, adorable and besides the smells, a great shoe.

These shoes are great: styled well, seem pretty comfy for my son (4 yrs old), and don't pinch his feet or give him blisters. However, the only drawback is that the insert/liner gets really stinky and washing it doesn't seem to help at all. I have done everything to deodorize them and nothing works. Other than that, they are really cute shoes and a good value for the money; just need to wear them with socks!

I bought these shoes for a cruise we were taking to Bermuda and they were wonderful! Besides being comfortable and hearing no complaints from my five year old, they were great for wearing both on the boat and on the beach. He loved not having to wear socks, but you still get the benefit of a sneaker-type shoe. I would definitely buy them again!

This is a sturdy, little sandal that protects the toes with the rubber cap on the toe. Stride Rite is one of the preferred brands for small children. We purchased this shoe as well as the infant/toddler. This one is too big right now, but will be perfect soon. We love stride Rite sandals.

My boys love these sandals! 90% of the shoes I buy my 3yr old hurt or blister him. He has a wide foot with a high instep. These have been great. No hurt, he tells me. I would suggest getting the exact size they measure, not bigger. My 6yr old also loves them.

This shoe is great for keeping toes protected at the playground. Very flexible sole. Easy on/off velcro straps that my 2.5 year old can manage. Only complaint is that after a month of wearings, the shoes are becoming stinky. However, I've heard that toddlers feet sweat a lot and stinky sandals are unavoidable (we have the same problem with a pair of Gap sandals too, so, this isn't a Stride Rite issue...I guess my son has sweaty, stinky feet!). Overall, I'm very pleased and would highly recommend this shoe for an active toddler, especially if you are on the hunt for a shoe that comes in Wide width.

My 2 year old loves these shoes. He seems very comfy in them and asks to wear them. The velcro is really strong so he can’t take them off while we’re in the car, which I love. They also go with everything. Great product!

Love these shoes! Part sneaker part sandal...perfect for summer! I bought my son a pair of Keens first but he said they made his feet too sweaty... and when he runs in Crocs he wipes out! Perfect fit and they stay on his feet!

I bought Stride Rite TT Ogden Core shoes for my 5 yr. old grandson. He has to wear a closed toe shoe in daycare so these are perfect. This shoe is comfortable & keeps his feet cool in the hot AZ sun.

Great Looking Shoe. Very Comfortable. Great fit. Unfortunately after only a few wears, these shoes had the worst foot odor. I thought they were treated with something to help stop odor...We love everything else, except the horrible foot odor. I will try some odor eater foot pads.

These shoes are the greatest thing since sliced bread! I bought a very similar shoe for my son last summer and he literally wore them out. They are the PERFECT marriage of a sneaker and a sandal. Wonderful for our hot, humid southern summers. The Wide width was a perfect fit for my son. Plus, his daycare requires everyone to wear sneakers for safety reasons, and these satisfy the requirements. He loves them, they are comfortable for him, and he never complains about wearing them. What more could a mom want?

I have always been happy with Stride Rite shoes. Most of the shoes my 7 year old wears are Stride Rite. The shoes are always good quality with great support and last a long time.

These shoes are great! They are great for a rough playing two year old and keep his toes protected unlike flip flops. I have washed them in the washing machine twice now and they've come out looking like new. I would buy these again. Zappos delivered them overnight! I love Zappos!

Got these for my 5-year old and he loves them. Velcro is very easy to get through straps. Only complaint is they hold a little more sand in due to the rounded toe, but it offers much better protection than open-toe.

They don't slow him down...
These shoes are great for my active 3yr old. They keep his feet cool while protecting his toes from constant damage.

Great shoe, great looks, amazing service from Zappos -
First off, Zappos is amazing. I am in California and ordered these shoes for my toddler before going to bed. No joke, they arrived the next day. I honestly cannot believe how great Zappos is. I am a shoe nut, and now I buy EVERY pair from Zappos. The best period! This shoe is the "2009" version of Stride Rite's super popular Argo hybrid shoe/sandal. It offers the best of both worlds, and my son loves them. Safe toe protection, comfort/coolness of a breathable sandal, great foot support & arch care. Dependable materials, sturdy construction, and looks so cool. Honestly, I would wear a pair of these. Listening Stride Rite... make these in Adult sizes.
