I have other Ariat shoes and boots, however, I ordered the correct size and after wearing once, it is difficult to keep the sandal on. Foot slides around. I have a wide foot, but still too loose. It is a nice looking sandal.

They are beautiful sandals and seem true to size. They are comfortable for limited wear but I would not recommend them if you are looking for a walking sandal. I wore them to a graduation where we unexpectedly had to walk about a half mile to get there and by the time we were back to the car, it hurt between my toes where the thong strap is because of the angle of the shoes. However, if you want an attractive sandal to wear when you are going to do limited walking, these are nice. I have had Ariat shoes before and they are always high quality and long lasting.

I have plantar fasciitis and my doctor gave me a recommended list of brands, which included Ariat. I was excited to see that Zappos had the Ariat brand. I initially tried a different Ariat sandal (can’t remember name, sorry), but the sizing was wrong. Zappos was wonderful to work with on the return and shipped my replacement before I even returned the first shoe. Go Zappos! I thought that Ariat Tampa would be the perfect replacement and the perfect summer go-to shoe. Wrong. While the sole of the shoe is very comfortable, the leather upper is not. I have a desk job, so I don’t do a whole lot of walking during the day, which is a good thing or I’d have had blisters with which to contend. Even though I have the shoe buckled snuggly over the arch, the ball of my foot slides around and feels like it is going to slide off the side of shoe and walking feels like an effort to keep the shoe on. The shoe is extremely cute and I’m trying to make it work, but it isn’t the go-to shoe that I’d hoped it would be.
