I can't tell you how much I bloody well adore this boot. I've collected a good number of Dr. Martens in the last few years and these are actually the most comfortable of the lot of them. They have a brilliant Rick Owens look and feel to them. They fit true to size. Perfectly in fact, but then again I'm a girl and they usually are a bit over sized so this might be smaller on a man. My only complaint is the mondo-thick shoelace. I had to switch it with one of my thinner Dr. Martens shoelaces to get the look I desired.

I agree with the previous reviewer that this boot seems smaller than other Dr. Martens. I normally order a 6 and find it to be a touch big, but the 6 in this shoe is very snug. I am still working on breaking these boots in. The leather is quite stiff and after a few hours of wear, I get nasty blisters on the backs of my heels, which then need a week or two to heal. The all-white look is very striking, but it remains to be seen whether it is worth the difficult break-in process.

I bought these boots in black for work because they don’t have that Doc Marten’s yellow stitching that I feel is kind of inappropriate for my job – I’m a Paramedic. Unfortunately the Maraceaux-Pascal 8 Eye Boot is cut smaller and narrower than other Doc Martens that I’ve bought. Over the years I’ve bought over a dozen pairs of the 3989 shoes and the 11822 boots in UK9 (US10). These have always fit perfectly. The Maraceaux-Pascals in in UK9 are cut smaller and narrower. I took them to a shoe repair guy to widen them, but they’re still uncomfortable after an hour of wear. So if you want to get the Maraceax-Pascal, maybe order up one size than you normally would. If you have really wide feet, then the Maraceaux-Pascal’s are NOT for you. Why doesn’t Doc. Martens offer wide sizes? Zappos, however, is awesome!
