Good for everyday. They loose the shape quickly and the comfort is not like Rockport used to be; still a bit better than other shoes in this price range that are "made in China."

I bought these for my husband, who at the time had a herniated disc with painful nerve damage radiating to his left foot. He told me the shoes helped to 'soften the blow' of walking a lot (in NYC) and weren't as heavy as traditional men's shoes. These are also very stylish and comfortable. True to fit and no 'breaking in' period necessary. Don't hesitate to purchase them. Oh, and thanks Zappos for fast shipping!

I have worn many different styles of Rockport shoes in the past. These looked nice, and (in the wide width) should have fit well. However, they did not; after a few wearings, they are still somewhat tight and uncomfortable. They feel pretty narrow for a shoe purporting to be "wide" more so than other Rockports I've worn. I won't buy these again, though they do look great!

I bought these because I was having some pain issues with a pair of Johnston and Murphy\'s. While I cannot say these shoes solved the problem, they did make it much more bearable. I would definitely reccommend them.

The Rockport Schemerhorns are great shoes! Extremely comfortable right out of the box! These have a rubber sole, which is quite comfortable. They were true to fit for size 13. These are also remarkably light shoes, great for wearing all day! I have worn Rockports for many years, and they are the only shoe I will wear for work! Zappos is the best by far! Their no-charge shipping both ways always makes purchasing from them a sure thing. Their shipping is lightning fast! Nothing but praise for these Rockports and Zappos!

My boss had me order some shoes for him. I am a Zappos worshiper and knew that I would find something. These shoes look great and have helped my boss with his back and foot pain. He is on his feet for 15 hour days and really needs the support.

These are the most comfortable dress shoes I ever had. The tongue and heel are padded with no rubbing or binding. I ordered a black pair, wore them a day and ordered a dark brown pair the next day. I highly recommend these for guys that don\'t like the feel of traditional leather dress shoes.\r\nZappos upgraded the shipping and I received the shoes as quick as the day after I ordered them.

I just wanted to send a quick thank you to all of you for being such a wonderful company. I have ordered from you several times in the past and have always enjoyed your wide selection, fast shipping, and easy return policy. However, while these are great attributes of a company, they don't usually inspire me to write feedback emails raving about the company. About a week ago, I wanted to order a pair of shoes I'd had my eye on for quite some time. I shopped around but, as usual, Zappos.com had the best price (and free shipping!). However, when I tried to order, neither you nor any other website I visited had the shoes in my size. I called your customer service number to find out if they had been discontinued. In my experience, these sort of help lines rarely produce any sort of useful information, so I don't usually expect a whole lot from them. I called at around 5:30am Eastern Time, and was thrilled someone actually answered the phone that early in the morning! That would have been enough to make me a happy customer, however in true Zappos.com form, my experience exceeded expectations. Not only was the representative friendly and helpful, he took time to check your inventory and find out if the shoes had been discontinued. Then, he checked out other websites to find out if they had the shoes in my size! After several minutes of searching, he was able to find one website with one remaining pair in my size. However, at that point I was so impressed with Zappos.com that there was no chance of me ordering those shoes from any other website! So thank you to Zappos.com and that customer service representative, whoever he is, for such stellar customer service! Keep up the great work!
